Enrico Fabris
Enrico Fabris (born 5 October 1981) is an Italian former long track speed skater who has won three World Cup races and became the first European Allround Champion from Italy when he won the 2006 European Championships one month before the Winter Olympics in Turin. In 2007 he won also the silver medal and in 2008 the bronze medal. Fabris is also a six-time Italian Allround Champion. Career At the 2006 Olympics he won a bronze medal in the men's 5,000 m event, Italy's first-ever Olympic medal in speed skating. Mark Knoll (born July 26, 1976) is a Canadian former speed skater and schoolteacher. He twice took part in the Winter Olympic Games. Lasse Sætre (born 10 March 1974) is a former speed skater from Norway, who for several years was among the world's best long distance skaters. Sætre who grew up in Nord-Odal competed in the 1998, 2002 and 2006 Olympics, and won a 10,000-m bronze in the 2002 Winter Olympics. He won another 10,000-m bronze in the 2003 World Single Distance Championships. Shani Earl Davis (; born August 13, 1982) is an American former speed skater. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy, Davis became the first African American athlete to win a gold medal in an individual event at the Olympic Winter Games, winning the speedskating 1000 meter event. He also won a silver medal in the 1500 meter event.
