The 2003 Cupa României Final was the 65th final of Romania's most prestigious cup competition. The final was played at the Stadionul Naţional in Bucharest on 31 May 2003 and was contested between Divizia A sides Dinamo București and Naţional București. The cup was won by Dinamo. 2002–03 Cupa României
The 2002–03 Cupa României was the 65th edition of Romania's most prestigious Association football, football tournament. Dinamo București won the title by defeating Naţional București, 1–0. Format Cupa României is an annual knockout tournament. The first round of matches are played on the grounds of the lower-ranked teams; in the second round the matches are played in a neutral location. If a match is tied after 90 minutes, the game goes into extra time. If the match is still tied, the result is decided by penalty kicks. In the quarterfinals and semifinals, the winner was determined by the combined score from two matches. CS Năvodari
Club Sportiv Năvodari, commonly known as CS Năvodari, or simply as Năvodari, is a Romanian amateur football club based in Năvodari, Constanța County founded in 1993 under the name of ''Midia Năvodari'' and re-founded in 2015 in its current version. History The club was originally founded in 1993, under the name of ''Midia Năvodari''. The club did not achieve much in its short existence, but was a solid club, playing in the Liga II for almost a decade, being involved in the promotion battle almost every season. Its best standing was Runner-up at the end of the 1999–2000 Divizia B and the 2004–05 Divizia B. Dan Alexa (born 28 October 1979) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player. As a defensive midfielder, he spent 16 years as a professional player. After he ended his playing career, Alexa became a manager. His first job was at ACS Poli Timișoara, in March 2014. Since 23 August 2017 he was manager of Dunărea Călărași until summer of 2019. Florentin Petre (born 15 January 1976) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player. Club career Born in Bucharest, Petre started playing football at the youth center of Dinamo București, playing his first Divizia A match for the senior squad on 15 October 1994 in a 2–0 victory over Universitatea Cluj in which he opened the scoring in the 3rd minute. He was loaned to UTA Arad in the second half of that season, playing 8 Divizia A matches in which he scored one goal. He helped Dinamo win The Double, scoring 7 goals in 22 matches in the 1999–2000 Divizia A. In 2000 Petre contracted hepatitis C and had an accident while fishing in the Danube Delta when he touched an electricity wire with his fishing rod and almost lost his life, these events put him on the sideline for almost two seasons, but he sill managed to bring his contribution to the winning of the 2001–02 title by scoring one goal in 10 appearances.
