2003 Alaska Aces Season
The 2003 Alaska Aces season was the 18th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Draft picks Transactions Occurrences During the Invitational Cup, shooting guard Jon Ordonio was placed on the reserve list upon orders by the management. Ordonio was one of the five foreign-breed players whom the senate recommended for deportation upon investigation on the so-called Fil-Shams. Championship The Alaska Aces won the Invitational Championship for their 11th PBA title as they exact revenge over the Coca-Cola Tigers, the team that beat them for the All-Filipino crown last year. The Aces won the best-of-three title series, two games to one. Alaska was the sixth entry among PBA teams qualified to play in the second conference Invitationals that featured guest foreign teams. Earl Timothy Cone (born December 14, 1957) is an American professional basketball coach who is the head coach of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He is the most accomplished coach in PBA history with twenty-four (24) titles, including two (2) Grand Slams, four (4) Coach of the Year awards, and the winningest coach of the league tallying more than one thousand (1000) games won. The 2002 Alaska Aces season was the 17th season of the franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Draft pick Transactions Finals stint The Alaska Aces made it to the finals twice in the 2002 season, they lost to Purefoods TJ Hotdogs in seven games for the Governor's Cup title. After placing fourth in the Commissioner's Cup, the Aces reach the All-Filipino Cup finals with a 2-1 series win over top-seeded Red Bull Thunder in their best-of-three semifinals. The San Miguel Beermen are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). It is one of three PBA clubs owned by the San Miguel Corporation group of companies along with the Magnolia Hotshots and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. Richard "Dickie" Bachmann (born 1968 or 1969) is a Filipino sports executive and former basketball player who serves as the chairman of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC). Luigi Trillo
Luis Antonio Trillo, (born July 13, 1975) better known as Luigi Trillo is the former head coach of the Alaska Aces in the Philippine Basketball Association. He is also the former head coach of the Cebuana Lhuillier Gems in the PBA D-League. Currently, he is the assistant coach of the Meralco Bolts.
