The 2002–03 Egyptian Premier League was the forty-sixth season of the Egyptian Premier League since its establishment in 1948. The season began on 23 September 2002 and concluded on 23 May 2003, with a total of 14 teams contesting the league. Zamalek won the title, with Al Ahly being the runner up. The Egyptian Premier League ( ar, الدوري المصري الممتاز), also known as WE Egyptian Premier League (WE EPL) after the addition of title sponsor WE, is a professional association football league in Egypt and the top level of the Egyptian football league system. The league comprises 18 teams and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Egyptian Second Division. Seasons mostly run from August to May. Unlike most other leagues, all games are played all over the week. The Egyptian Premier League was founded in 1948, unifying the local leagues that had existed previously. 70 clubs have competed in the league since its founding. Al Ahly have won the title 42 times, more than any other club. Their closest rivals, Zamalek, have won the league 14 times. 2003–04 Egyptian Premier League
In the Egyptian League 2003/2004, fourteen teams has participated. The first placed team in the league is the league's champion and qualifies, along with the second placed, team to CAF Champions League 2005. The third placed team qualifies to CAF Champions League 2005. The teams with the last three places in the league will be relegated to the Egyptian Second Division.
