American Football
American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. Rien Long
Rien Michael Long (born August 7, 1981) is a former American college and professional football player who was a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons during the early 2000s. He played college football for Washington State University, earned All-American honors, and was recognized as the top college interior lineman. The Tennessee Titans chose him in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL Draft, and he played for the Titans until his pro career was cut short by injuries. The 2002 College Football All-America Team is composed of the following All-American Teams: Associated Press (AP), Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), Walter Camp Foundation (WCFF), ''The Sporting News'' (TSN), ''Pro Football Weekly'' (PFW), ''Sports Illustrated'' (CNNSI) and ESPN. LaShaun Brandon Ward (born September 22, 1980) is a former professional gridiron football wide receiver. He was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2003. Dennis Weathersby (born June 16, 1980) is a former NFL cornerback for the Cincinnati Bengals. College career Weathersby played in college for Oregon State University. Marcus Lavon Trufant (born December 25, 1980) is a former American football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons.
