Oliver Gross (born 17 June 1973) is a former professional tennis player from Germany. Career Gross, the 1991 German Youth Champion, turned professional in 1993. The following year reached his first and only ATP Tour final, in San Marino, where he was defeated in straight sets by Carlos Costa. He reached his highest career ranking of 60 in 1995, after reaching the quarterfinals in Munich and defeating number two Peter Sampras in Barcelona 1–6, 6–2, 6–3. His best performance in a Grand Slam came at the 1998 US Open when he reached the round of 16. Markus Hipfl (born 26 April 1978) is a former professional tennis player from Austria. Career Hipfl had a noteworthy junior career. He won the Under-16s Orange Bowl in 1994 and was also a finalist in that year's European Championship. In 1996 he finished runner-up in the 1996 US Open Boys' Singles, losing in the final to German Daniel Elsner. During the 1999 ATP Tour, Hipfl broke into the top 100 for the first time. He made the semi-finals of Morocco's Grand Prix Hassan II and was a quarter-finalist at four tournaments, in San Marino, Sankt Pölten, Sicily and Majorca. His best performances in 2000 included being a semi-finalist at the Swedish Open and making another quarter-final appearance in the International Raiffeisen Grand Prix at Sankt Pölten. Federico Luzzi
Federico Luzzi (3 January 1980 – 25 October 2008) was an Italian professional tennis player who had been ranked as high as World No. 92. Luzzi had been suspended from professional tennis in 2008 for six months after a determination was made that he had gambled on the outcome of matches over a three-year span. He was diagnosed with leukemia on a Wednesday and died four days later. While he was on suspension and awaiting the outcome of the case he studied acting in Hollywood. He screen tested and was to return to Hollywood in 2009 to begin filming two movies. The FedeLux charity was founded in his honor, searching for a cure for cancer. Jamie Delgado
Jamie Delgado (born 21 March 1977) is a British tennis coach and former professional player. Delgado has represented Great Britain in the Davis Cup, most recently in 2006. Delgado holds the all-time male record for playing in consecutive Wimbledon tournaments, playing for the 23rd time in 2014 at the age of 37. His best singles performance at Wimbledon was reaching the second round, on three occasions (1999, 2001 and 2006). He reached the quarter-finals of the President's Cup tournament in Kazakhstan in 2000. In total he has won three singles Challenger Tour titles but as the years passed, he became more predominantly a doubles specialist player where he has had better success winning fifteen challenger Tour titles and making the final of two ATP Tour events both in 2012. Germán Puentes Alcañiz (born 18 December 1972) is a former professional tennis player from Spain. Career Puentes was the runner-up in the 1989 Spanish Junior Championships. The Spaniard appeared in the main singles draw of five Grand Slams during his career but only once made the second round, at the 2001 Wimbledon Championships, with a win over Mariano Puerta. He also won just one Grand Slam doubles match, which was against South Africans Jeff Coetzee and Marcos Ondruska in the 2001 Australian Open, partnering Juan Balcells.
