2000–01 Cypriot Fourth Division
The 2000–01 Cypriot Fourth Division was the 16th season of the Cypriot fourth-level football league. Sourouklis Troullon won their 1st title. Format Fourteen teams participated in the 2000–01 Cypriot Fourth Division. All teams played against each other twice, once at their home and once away. The team with the most points at the end of the season crowned champions. The first three teams were promoted to the 2001–02 Cypriot Third Division and the last three teams were relegated to regional leagues. Cypriot Fourth Division
The Cypriot Fourth Division ( el, Τέταρτη Κατηγορία) was the fourth tier association football, football league competition in Cyprus, ran by the Cyprus Football Association. Each year, the top finishing teams of the league were promoted to the Cypriot Third Division, and the lowest finishing teams were relegated to the amateur leagues. History The Cypriot Fourth Division started the 1985–86 football season as the fourth level of the Cypriot football. The decision was taken by CFA on 23 July 1985. The first eight seasons the championship was split into three or four geographical groups, representing the Districts of Cyprus. 1999–2000 Cypriot Third Division
The 1999–2000 Cypriot Third Division was the 29th season of the Cypriot third-level football league. THOI Lakatamia won their 2nd title. Format Fourteen teams participated in the 1999–2000 Cypriot Third Division. All teams played against each other twice, once at their home and once away. 2000–01 Cypriot Cup
The 2000–01 Cypriot Cup was the 59th edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 50 clubs entered the competition. It began on 11 November 2000 with the preliminary round and concluded on 12 May 2001 with the final which was held at GSP Stadium. Apollon Limassol won their 5th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating Nea Salamina 1–0 in the final. Format In the 2000–01 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division, the Cypriot Second Division, the Cypriot Third Division and 8 of the 14 teams of the Cypriot Fourth Division. The competition consisted of six knock-out rounds. In the preliminary round and in the first round each tie was played as a single leg and was held at the home ground of the one of the two teams, according to the draw results. The 2000–01 Cypriot First Division was the 62nd season of the Cypriot top-level football league. Omonia won their 18th title. Format Fourteen teams participated in the 2000–01 Cypriot First Division. All teams played against each other twice, once at their home and once away. The team with the most points at the end of the season crowned champions. The last three teams were relegated to the 2001–02 Cypriot Second Division. The champions ensured their participation in the 2001–02 UEFA Champions League and the runners-up in the 2001–02 UEFA Cup. The teams had to declare their interest to participate in the 2001 UEFA Intertoto Cup before the end of the championship. Elpida Xylofagou
Elpida Xylofagou is a Cypriot football club based in the village of Xylofagou in Larnaca district. The club, which was established in 1959, currently competes in the Cypriot Second Division, after a successful campaign in the Cypriot Third Division, from which it gains the promotion. AEK Kythreas (Greek: ΑΕΚ; ''Aθλητική Ένωση Κυθρεας'', Athlitiki Enosi Kythreas) is a Cypriot football club, formerly based in Kythrea, a village under ''de facto'' control of Northern Cyprus. ASPIS Pylas
Pyla (; ) is a village in Larnaca District, Cyprus. It is one of only four villages located within the United Nations Buffer Zone, the other three being Athienou, Troulloi and Deneia. Pyla is located in the eastern part of the island, adjacent to the British Sovereign Base Area of Dhekelia.
