1929–30 La Liga
The 1929–30 Primera División season started 1 December 1929, and finished 30 March 1930. A total of 10 teams contested the league, where Barcelona were the defending champions. As different from the previous season, the last qualified team was directly relegated. Athletic Bilbao achieved their first title ever after ending the season unbeaten. Fernando Correa
Fernando Edgardo Correa Ayala (born 6 January 1974) is a Uruguayan retired footballer who played as a striker, and is a current manager. Having represented in his country River Plate and Peñarol, he had a lengthy spell in Spain with Atlético Madrid. He also competed professionally in China. Oscar Alcides Mena Fernández (born 30 November 1970), nicknamed ''El Mencho'', is an Argentine retired footballer who played as a defensive midfielder, and is a manager. Playing career Born in Luján, Buenos Aires, Mena started his career playing for Club Luján and then Club Defensores de Cambaceres, both in the third division. Santiago Denia Sánchez (born 9 March 1974), commonly known as Santi, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a central defender, currently manager of the Spain under-21 national team.
