Big 12 Conference
The Big 12 Conference is a college athletic conference headquartered in Irving, Texas, USA. It consists of ten full-member universities. It is a member of Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for all sports. Its football teams compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS; formerly Division I-A), the higher of two levels of NCAA Division I football competition. 2000 Texas Longhorns Football Team
The 2000 Texas Longhorns football team represented the University of Texas at Austin during the 2000 NCAA Division I-A football season. They were represented in the Big 12 Conference in the South Division. They played their home games at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas. The team was coached by head coach Mack Brown. Schedule Texas finished with a 7–1 record in conference play, Mack Brown's best conference record yet. Their only conference loss came to Oklahoma, which was both conference and national champion. Jason Willis
Jason Patrick Willis (born July 26, 1980) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. High school career Willis attended Saint Bernard High School in Playa Del Rey, California. As a sophomore, Willis started at safety, earning Rookie of the Year honors. His junior year, Willis ranked 2nd in the league in rushing, and 2nd in total individual tackles. As a senior, he was the Defensive Player of the Year, member of the "All Regional Team" as a running back, and SuperPrep All-American candidate. He also was a 3x Del Rey League, 1st team selection. Maurice Autora Morris (born December 1, 1979) is a former American football running back. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft and also played for the Detroit Lions. He played college football at Oregon Ducks football, Oregon. Early life Morris attended Chester High School in Chester, South Carolina. As a senior, he rushed for over 1,600 yards and 25 touchdowns. Rush (American Football)
Rushing is an action taken by the offense that means to advance the ball by running with it, as opposed to passing, or kicking. Running Rushing, on offense, is running with the ball when starting from behind the line of scrimmage with an intent of gaining yardage. While this usually means a running play, any offensive play that does not involve a forward pass is a rush - also called a run. Justin Morris Peelle (born March 15, 1979) is a former American football tight end who is currently the tight ends coach for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football for Oregon, he was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL draft. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers.
