1993 Swedish Golf Tour (women)
The 1993 Swedish Golf Tour, known as the Lancôme Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the eighth season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden. 1993 was the third year with Lancôme as the main sponsor. The tour attracted international players as the LET only featured 12 events this season. The number of events increased by two and the oldest tournament, the Höganäs Ladies Open, celebrated its 10th and penultimate installment, won by Annika Sörenstam. A teenage Maria Hjorth won two tournaments while Carin Hjalmarsson won three, and captured her second Order of Merit. Carin Hjalmarsson
Anna Carin Pernilla Hjalmarsson Koch (née Hjalmarsson; born 23 February 1971) is a Swedish professional golfer who previously played on the Ladies European Tour and on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. She was captain of the 2015 European Solheim Cup team. Amateur career Carin Koch had a successful amateur career. She represented Gullbringa Golf & Country Club, in Kungälv, north of Gothenburg, Sweden, just as elder Swedish female stars Kärstin Ehrnlund and Helen Alfredsson. She was the 1988 Swedish Junior 18 Match-play Champion. She represented Sweden on both junior level and in the national amateur team during the period 1985–1991. Anna-Carin Jonasson (born 19 November 1971) is a retired Swedish professional golfer. In 1994 she won the Spanish Ladies Amateur and a bronze medal at the Espirito Santo Trophy. She played on the Ladies European Tour and the Ladies Asian Golf Tour between 1995 and 1998. Amateur career Jonasson had a successful amateur career and won the Finnish Ladies Open Amateur Championship in 1988 and was a semi-finalist at the 1992 SM Match Play. The Haninge Ladies Open was a women's professional golf tournament held at Haninge Golf Club near Stockholm in Sweden. The tournament ran for two years on the Swedish Golf Tour before being included on the Ladies European Tour between 1990 and 1996. Anna Berg (born 25 April 1973) is a Swedish professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour. She was 1997 LET Rookie of the Year and runner-up at the Taiwan Ladies Open in 2001. Amateur career Berg was on the National Team and won silver at the inaugural European Girls' Team Championship in 1991 together with Maria Hjorth, Mia Löjdahl and Charlotta Sörenstam. In 1994, she won the European Lady Junior's Team Championship with the same teammates plus Linda Ericsson and Helena Olsson. Härjedalen (; no, Herjådalen or ) is a historical province (''landskap'') in the centre of Sweden. The Aspeboda Ladies Open was a women's professional golf tournament on the Swedish Golf Tour. It was played annually from the inception of the tour in 1986 until 1997. It was always held at the Falun-Borlänge Golf Club in Aspeboda, Sweden. In 1986 the tournament was included on the Ladies European Tour and sometimes referred to as the Borlänge Ladies Open. Åsa Gottmo (born 22 June 1971 in Kalmar) is a retired Swedish professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour 1993–2008. She won the 2002 Wales WPGA Championship of Europe and finished 5th in the Order of Merit twice.
