The 1993 French Open was a tennis tournament that took place on the outdoor clay courts at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France. The tournament was held from 24 May until 6 June. It was the 97th staging of the French Open, and the second Grand Slam tennis event of 1993. David Prinosil ( cz, David Přinosil; born 9 March 1973) is a former tennis player from Germany, who turned professional in 1991. Prinosil was born in Olomouc, Czechoslovakia, but later moved to Germany. He represented his country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, where he was defeated in the first round by Daniel Vacek of the Czech Republic.
