The OFC U-20 Championship 1992 was held in Papeete, Tahiti. It also served as qualification for the intercontinental play-off for the 1993 FIFA World Youth Championship. Matches were played on 6 and 9 March 1991 in Sydney, Australia. Despite both matches being played in the same Australian city, Australia still won on away goals. OFC U-20 Championship
The OFC U-19 Championship is a tournament held once every two years to decide the under-19 champions of Oceania and also decides who will represent Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) at the biennial FIFA U-20 World Cup. Between 1974 and 2012, the competition was open to teams under 20 years of age and called the OFC U-20 Championship. Since 2014, the age limit was darkreduced to under 19 years of age, and since 2018, the tournament name was changed to the OFC U-19 Championship. The 1993 FIFA World Youth Championship, known as the 1993 FIFA/Coca-Cola World Youth Championship for sponsorship purposes, was the 9th edition FIFA World Youth Championship. U20 Brazil defeated Ghana, 2–1 for its third title. It took place across five cities in Australia. The tournament was originally to be held in Yugoslavia, but due to the Yugoslav Wars, was moved to Australia. Qatar
