1992 LPGA Tour
The 1992 LPGA Tour was the 43rd season since the LPGA Tour officially began in 1950. The season ran from January 30 to November 8. The season consisted of 34 official money events. Dottie Mochrie won the most tournaments, four. She also led the money list with earnings of $693,335. There were eight first-time winners in 1992: Brandie Burton, Dawn Coe, Florence Descampe, Dana Lofland, Sherri Steinhauer, Kris Tschetter, Lisa Walters, and Jennifer Wyatt. Dottie Mochrie
Dottie Pepper (born August 17, 1965) is an American professional golfer and television golf broadcaster. From 1988 to 1995 she competed as Dottie Mochrie, which was her married name before a divorce. She won two major championships and 17 LPGA Tour events in all. Amateur career Pepper was born in Saratoga Springs, New York; her father, Don, was a major league baseball player, who appeared on the cover of ''Sports Illustrated'' as a "rookie to watch", along with Hall of Famer Johnny Bench, in 1968. Her career began with big amateur victories in her home state of New York. She won the 1981 state amateur and the 1981 and 1983 New York Junior Amateur titles. She was a member of the 1981 Junior World Cup team and low amateur at the 1984 U.S. Women's Open. She attended Furman University, where she earned five collegiate victories and was named All-American three times. Colleen Walker
Colleen Walker (August 16, 1956 – December 11, 2012) was an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. Amateur career Walker was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She started playing golf at the age of 14. At the age of 18, she was named the 1974 Palm Beach Post Athlete and Player of the Year. She won the Florida All-State Golf Award in 1976. She attended Florida State University where she won most valuable player honors from 1977–1978. Professional career Walker turned professional in September 1981 and played on the Tampa Bay Mini-Tour. She joined the LPGA Tour in 1982 after winning the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. The 1992 Nabisco Dinah Shore was a women's professional golf tournament, held March 26–29 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. This was the 21st edition of the Nabisco Dinah Shore, and the tenth as a major championship. Danielle Ammaccapane
Danielle Ammaccapane (born November 27, 1965) is an American professional golfer playing on the LPGA Tour. Her daughter, with husband Rod Kesling, is child actor Laura Ann Kesling. Amateur career Ammaccapane was born in Babylon, New York. She had a successful junior and amateur career and won the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links in 1985. She played her collegiate golf at Arizona State University becoming NCAA National Champion in 1985, All-American First team in 1985 and 1986 and All-American Second team in 1987. The Welch's/Fry's Championship was a golf tournament for professional female golfers that was part of the LPGA Tour from 1981 to 2004. It was played at the Randolph Golf Course in Tucson, Arizona.
