Chilean Primera División
The Chilean Primera División (English: First Division) is the top-tier league of the Chilean football league system. It is organized by the ''Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, ANFP''. The league is known as the Campeonato AFP PlanVital for sponsorship reasons. Format As of the 2018 season, 16 teams compete in the league, playing against each other two times, home and away. Relegation and promotion Currently, the two teams with the worst scores in the season, are relegated to Primera B, and replaced by the Champions and Runners-up of this Division. Qualification for international competitions The champions of the Campeonato are immediately qualified to the Copa Libertadores for the next year, as well as the second and third place. Raúl Elias Ormeño Pacheco (born June 21, 1958) is a Chilean former football defensive midfielder. Playing career He played for only one club in Chile, Colo Colo. At international level, he represented Chile at under-20 level in both the 1977 and the 1979 South American Championships. At senior level, he represented his native country at the 1982 FIFA World Cup, wearing the number fourteen jersey. Carlos Humberto Caszely Garrido (born 5 July 1950 in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean former footballer, nicknamed "Rey del metro cuadrado" ( en, King of the square meter, pt, O Rei do Metro Quadrado), who played as a forward. Regarded as one of Chile's most important players, between 1969 and 1985, Caszely won 48 caps and scored 29 goals for the Chile national team, including participations in the 1974 and 1982 World Cups. Club career Cazsely played for several football teams in his career, including Colo-Colo (1968–1973), Levante UD (1973–1974), RCD Espanyol (1974–1978), finally returning to Colo-Colo (1978–1985). Jorge Orlando Aravena Plaza (born 22 April 1958) is a Chilean former footballer. A left-footed attacking midfielder or deep-lying forward, he played for several clubs in Latin America and Europe, including Club Deportivo Universidad Católica, Deportivo Cali and Puebla F.C.
