1974 Norwegian First Division
The 1974 Eliteserien, 1. divisjon was the 30th completed season of Norway's Eliteserien, first-tier football league and was contested by 12 teams. The season was won by Viking FK, Viking, one point ahead of the newly promoted team Molde FK, Molde. This was Viking third consecutive league championship, and the fourth total. HamKam, Sarpsborg FK, Sarpsborg and Raufoss IL, Raufoss was relegated to the 1975 2. divisjon. Eliteserien
Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. Eliteserien was founded in 1937 as Norgesserien (English: ''The League of Norway''), and the first season was the 1937–38 season. The structure and name of Eliteserien, along with Norway's other football leagues, has undergone frequent changes. Frigg Oslo FK
Frigg Oslo Fotballklubb is a Norwegian sports club from Majorstua in Oslo. It has sections for association football and bandy. History It was founded on 17 May 1904 as ''SK Frigg'', named after Frigg of Norse mythology. It was merged on 21 April 1954 with ''SK Varg''. It took the name ''Frigg Oslo FK'' in 1990. The club colors are white and blue, and the team plays at Marienlyst stadion. It has a training field at Tørteberg not far from Marienlyst. As the name indicates it is mainly a football club. It formerly had a handball team; the women's team became national champions in 1962 and 1964. Erik Johannessen (footballer, Born 1952)
Erik Johannessen (born 20 March 1952) is a Norwegian former association football, footballer who played as a goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for Viking FK, Viking between 1971 and 1983. He won the Tippeligaen, Norwegian league six times and earned six caps while playing for Norway national football team, Norway. Johannessen has later been a part of Viking coaching-staff as a goalkeeping-coach. Club career Johannessen was born in Stavanger and started his career in Viking FK, Viking in 1971, where he soon became Sverre Andersen's successor as the first-choice goalkeeper. Johannessen was a part of Viking's golden generation that won four consecutive Tippeligaen, Norwegian league championships between 1972 and 1975, and he was voted Viking-player of the year in both 1974 and 1975. The 1974 Norwegian Football Cup was the 69th edition of the Norwegian annual knockout football tournament. The Cup was won by Skeid after beating Viking in the cup final with the score 3–1. Terje Olsen (footballer Born 1950)
Terje Olsen (born 28 September 1950) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played as a forward for Vålerengen his entire career, except for two seasons which he spent with Lillestrøm. Olsen was capped three times playing for Norway. Career Olsen started his career with Vålerengen in 1968, and played for the club until 1975. He then moved to Lillestrøm, where he 43 matches and scored nine goals over two seasons. During his time at Lillestrøm, the team won two consecutive league titles in addition to the Norwegian Cup in 1977. Olsen returned to Vålerengen in 1978, where he again won the Norwegian Cup in 1980. In total, Olsen played 102 matches for Vålerengen scoring 23 goals during his 11 seasons at the club. FK Mjølner is a Norwegian football club from Narvik. It currently plays in the 3. divisjon, after having been relegated from the 2. divisjon in 2019. The club played at the top tier in 1972 and 1989. History It is named after Mjöllnir in Norse mythology. It was formed in 1932 when ''Støa Mjølner'' (until 1926: ''FK Steady 1919 Mjølner'') and ''King Mjølner'' (until 1921: ''FK Freidig 1918 Mjølner'') merged. Bryne FK
Bryne Fotballklubb () is a professional football club in Bryne, Norway, that competes in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian football. History Bryne has played a total of 17 seasons in the top flight of Norwegian football since their debut in 1976. They had their longest spell of 13 consecutive top tier seasons from 1976 until 1988. Their last stint in the top divisions lasted four seasons from 2000 until the 2003 season, when Bryne, coached by Swede Reine Almqvist, were relegated in the final round of the 2003 Tippeligaen.
