Eliteserien
Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Seasons run from March to November with each team playing 30 matches (playing each other home and away). Most games are played on Sunday evenings. Eliteserien was founded in 1937 as Norgesserien (English: ''The League of Norway''), and the first season was the 1937–38 season. The structure and name of Eliteserien, along with Norway's other football leagues, has undergone frequent changes. The top level was renamed ''Hovedserien'' in 1948, ''1. divisjon'' (now used by the second level league in Norway) in 1963, then ''Tippeligaen'' (named for the main sponsor) in 1990. Raufoss Fotball
Raufoss IL is a sports club from Raufoss, Norway. The club was formed in 1918. The football section played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937–1948, between 1957–1960, in 1964 and between 1973–1974. The club currently plays in 1. divisjon, the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Since 2015, they have played their home games at Nammo Stadion. In 2007 Raufoss returned to the 1. divisjon and were able to finish in eleventh place, after being relegated from the second tier in 2004. However, due to financial problems and failure to meet demands on infrastructure, the Football Association of Norway decided not to award Raufoss the required license for play in the top two divisions. Raufoss were demoted to the 2. divisjon and their place given to Sparta Sarpsborg, who finished in thirteenth place. Lillestrøm is a municipality in Viken county. It is located in the traditional district of Romerike. With a population of 85,757 inhabitants, it is the fourth most populated municipality in Viken. Lillestrøm Sportsklubb is a Norwegian professional football club from the city of Lillestrøm, just outside of the capital Oslo. Lillestrøm SK is a Norwegian football club based in Lillestrøm, playing in Eliteserien. The club was founded in 1917, after the merger of two local football clubs. Their home ground is Åråsen Stadion, which has a capacity of 12,250 people, while the principal training ground is Lillestrøm stadion, or the indoor arena, LSK-Hallen. Fredrikstad (; previously ''Frederiksstad''; literally "Fredrik's Town") is a city and municipality in Viken county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality is the city of Fredrikstad. The city of Fredrikstad was founded in 1567 by King Frederick II, and established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see '' formannskapsdistrikt''). The rural municipality of Glemmen was merged with Fredrikstad on 1 January 1964. The rural municipalities of Borge, Onsøy, Kråkerøy, and Rolvsøy were merged with Fredrikstad on 1 January 1994. Fredrikstad Fotballklubb (also known as Fredrikstad or FFK) is a Norwegian association football, football club from the town of Fredrikstad. With nine league championships and eleven Norwegian Football Cup, Norwegian Cup wins, FFK is one of the most successful clubs in Norwegian football. The club was founded in 1903. After suffering relegation from the then 1st division in 1984 1. divisjon, 1984, Fredrikstad spent 18 years outside the top flight, before returning to the top division in 2003 after two successive promotions. Asker Fotball
Asker Fotball is the football department of Norwegian sports club Asker SK from Asker. The women's football team is one of the most successful clubs ever in Norway, with 6 top flight championships and 5 cup championships. Due to financial difficulties at the end of 2008, the team's licence to play in the Toppserien was revoked; the team members then joined Stabæk IF's football group, Stabæk Fotball, which set up a new women's team. NFF gave Asker's place in the Toppserien to Stabæk Fotball. Asker's second team became Asker's first team, playing in the 2. divisjon, and they now have a recruiting arrangement with Stabæk Fotball. Strømmen is a town in Lillestrøm municipality, Viken county, Norway. It is about twenty kilometers east of Oslo, and considered part of Greater Oslo. It has around 11,400 residents.
