1950 Svenska Cupen
Svenska Cupen 1950 was the tenth season of the main Swedish football Cup. A significant achievement was made by third division Fagerviks GF who reached the semi-finals before their winning sequence came to an end. The competition was concluded on 23 July 1950 with the Final, held at Råsunda Stadium, Solna in Stockholms län. AIK won 3-2 against Helsingborgs IF before an attendance of 14,154 spectators. Landskrona Boll och Idrottsällskap ( en, Landskrona Ball and Sports Society, locally referred to as BoIS) is a Swedish professional football club located in Landskrona, Scania, which currently plays in Superettan, the second league tier of football in Sweden. BK Kenty is a Swedish sports club located in Linköping. Background Bollklubben Kenty was formed on 10 April 1932 by John Schön, Gösta Dahlqvist, Enar Johansson and Folke Dättermark – all teenagers. The Kenty name has its origins in kid's interest at that time in reading Cowboy and Indian books. A few letters in the name Kentucky were changed and hence the name Kenty was born. Initially the club operated as a youth club before men's and boys' football became the club's main activity. In 1968 BK Kenty women's football was added. IS Halmia is a football club, located in Halmstad, Sweden. Background IS Halmia was founded on 16 June 16, 1907 and currently plays in Division 2 Västra Götaland. In early years, the club also played bandy. The first ever bandy game between two organised teams in Halland, is thought to have been played between Halmia and local rival Halmstads BK in 1922. Idrottsföreningen Friska Viljor is a Swedish ski jumping and Nordic combined club from Örnsköldsvik, Västernorrland County. It formerly offered more sports.
