IFK Norrköping
Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Norrköping, more commonly known as IFK Norrköping or simply Norrköping, is a Swedish professional football club based in Norrköping. The club is affiliated to Östergötlands Fotbollförbund and play their home games at Östgötaporten. The club colours, reflected in their crest and kit, are white and blue. Formed on 29 May 1897, the club have won thirteen national championship titles and six national cup titles. The club plays in the highest Swedish tier, Allsvenskan, which they first won in 1943. IFK Norrköping were most successful during the 1940s, when they won five Swedish championships and two Svenska Cupen titles under the Hungarian coach Lajos Czeizler and with players like Gunnar Nordahl and Nils Liedholm. Nya Parken
Nya Parken, formerly known as Norrköpings Idrottspark, also known as PlatinumCars Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a multi-purpose stadium in Norrköping, Sweden. It opened on 25 September 1903 and is currently used mostly for football matches. It is the home arena for IFK Norrköping, IK Sleipner and for IF Sylvia. The stadium had a capacity of 19,414 people until 2008–09 when the arena was re-built. Construction began on 27 April 1903, and inauguration occurred on 25 September the same year, during the Norrköping Sports Association's Sport Festival. During the 1958 FIFA World Cup, it hosted some group stage matches. During the Euro 1992, it hosted CIS – Germany (1–1), Scotland – Germany (0–2) and Scotland – CIS (3–0), all in Group B. 2015 Allsvenskan
The 2015 Allsvenskan, part of the 2015 Swedish football season was the 91st season of Allsvenskan since its establishment in 1924. The 2015 fixtures were released on 21 January 2015. The season started on 4 April 2015, when BK Häcken visited newly promoted Hammarby IF at Tele2 Arena and ended on 31 October 2015. Malmö FF were the defending champions from the 2014 season. A total of 16 teams contested the league; 14 returning from the 2014 season and two that were promoted from Superettan. IFK Norrköping became champions on 31 October 2015, after a 2–0 defeat over defending champions Malmö FF in the last round. The win helped IFK Norrköping win the league with a margin of three points ahead of IFK Göteborg and five points clear of third-placed team AIK. Christoffer Åke Sven "Totte" Nyman (born 5 October 1992) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays for IFK Norrköping as a forward. Club career Youth career Nyman was born in Norrköping and grew up close to the IFK Norrköping home stadium. He joined the youth ranks of the club at five years of age and growing up he worked at the home games both as a ball boy and with selling candy. Elohor Godswill Epokoli (born 14 May 1995) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays for Cypriot First Division club Apollon Limassol. Oscar Jansson (born 23 December 1990) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for IFK Norrköping. Career Jansson was born and raised in Örebro where he played for lower division locals Karlslunds IF HFK before joining Tottenham on 2 January 2007. Idrottsklubben Sleipner is a sports club in Norrköping, Sweden; the main sports are football and ten-pin bowling. It was founded in 1903, and named after the deity Odin's horse Sleipnir from Norse mythology. Currently, the club's senior men's team plays football in Division 2. They are mostly known for winning Allsvenskan in 1938, but have since been overshadowed by local rivals IFK Norrköping both locally and nationally. Svenska Supercupen, ''Swedish Super Cup'', was a one-off fixture in Swedish football played between the Allsvenskan champions and the winners of Svenska Cupen. The fixture was played in November, after the Allsvenskan season. In the event of a club winning the double (as AIK did in 2009 and Helsingborg in 2011) the runner up of the Allsvenskan would take part. In 2011, Helsingborgs IF became the first team to have won Svenska Supercupen and not being the defending Allsvenskan champions.
