Learco Guerra (14 October 1902 - 7 February 1963) was an Italian professional road racing cyclist. The highlight of his career was his overall win in the 1934 Giro d'Italia. He was born in San Nicolò Po, a ''frazione'' of Bagnolo San Vito in Lombardy, gained the nickname of "Human Locomotive" for his enduring quality in plain stages. After mediocre attempts to play football, Guerra became a professional cyclist in 1928, at 26. The following year he became Italian champion, racing as an independent or semi-professional. In 1930 he won his first Italian National Road Race Championships, the first of five straight wins. That same year he came second in the Tour de France after Italy's leader, Alfredo Binda, proved in poor form. The race was won by the Frenchman, André Leducq. Ferdinand Le Drogo
Ferdinand Le Drogo (10 October 1903 – 24 April 1976) was a French professional road bicycle racer. He is most known for his silver medal in the Elite race of the 1931 Road World Championships. Ferdinand Le Drogo was the older brother of cyclist Paul Le Drogo. In the 1927 Tour de France, Le Drogo took part in the Dilecta-Wolber team, which won the first stage, led by Francis Pélissier, who was the first leader of the general classification. Le Drogo won the fifth stage. In the sixth stage, Francis Pélissier abandoned sick. Ferdinand Le Drogo, who was second in the general classification, became the new leader. In the seventh stage, while Le Drogo was in the yellow jersey, the Tour passed in the region where he was born. His supporters cheered for Le Drogo, and he got excited and sped away from his teammates. That cost him too much energy, and he lost 20 minutes in that stage to the J.B. Henry Peter Christian Hansen (16 March 1902 – 28 March 1985) was a Danish road racing cyclist who won two gold medals at the 1928 Summer Olympics and a silver medal at the 1932 Summer Olympics. Hansen won the world title in 1931 and placed in the top 10 at three other world championships. At the Nordic Championships, he won the individual road race in 1925–1927 and 1929, and held the team title in 1926 and 1929. Nationally, he won the Danish championships in 1921, 1923, 1925, and 1930. Giuseppe Olmo
Giuseppe Olmo (22 November 1911 – 5 March 1992) was an Italian road bicycle racer. He competed at the 1932 Olympics and won a gold medal in the team road race, placing fourth individually. In October 1935 he set a new hour record at 45.090 km. As with many Italian bicycle racers, after his retirement in the late 1930s he began building bicycles, and founded Olmo (also known as Olmo ). The Olmo manufacturing center was set up in his home town of Celle Ligure Italy in 1938, where the company continues to manufacture their bicycles today. Later in his life, Giuseppe (Often called "Gepin" for short) came to be known as a successful entrepreneur and between the 1940s and 1970s he expanded his company into several manufacturing industries.
