	Viipurin Reipas Viipurin Reipas was an ice hockey club based in Viipuri (Vyborg). Its ice hockey section was established in 1928. It played in the SM-Sarja for two seasons (1928 and 1932) Reipas was one of the six first hockey teams that played in the first Finnish Championship in 1928. Relocation After The Winter War and The Continuation War, the city of Viipuri was ceded to Soviet Union and Reipas was forced to move within Finnish borders. picture info	Liiga Seasons The SM-liiga (marketed as just Liiga from 2013 on), (Finnish for ''League'') colloquially called the Finnish Elite League in English or FM-ligan in Swedish, is the top professional ice hockey league in Finland. It is one of the six founding leagues of the Champions Hockey League and currently allocated five spots - the maximum number - based on success in previous editions. It was created in 1975 to replace the SM-sarja, which was fundamentally an amateur league. The SM-liiga is not directly overseen by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association, but the league and association have an agreement of cooperation. SM is a common abbreviation for ''Suomen mestaruus'', "Finnish championship". The SM-liiga formerly had a system of automatic promotion and relegation in place between itself and the Mestis, the second highest level of competition in Finland, but the automatic system was ended in 2000. 	FC Kiffen 08 Kronohagens Idrottsförening (abbreviated KIF or Kiffen) ( en, Kruununhaka Sports Association) is a sports club from Helsinki, Finland. The club was founded on 27 September 1908, and has been mainly known for the achievements of its association football and handball teams. In the past the club also played at the top level in ice hockey and has won the ''Kalevan malja'' (Kaleva Cup) in athletics. Other sports that the club participates include shooting, bandy, bowling, and boxing. 	ViPS Viipuri Viipurin Palloseura (abbreviated as ViPS; 'Viipuri Ball Club') was mainly a bandy club from Vyborg, Russia (which in Finnish is called ''Viipuri''), founded in 1928 when the town belonged to Finland. The sport came to Finland from St. Petersburg, Russia, and it was natural that it gained a strong foothold in near-by Viipuri. During the Winter War (1939–40), the population of Viipuri was evacuated, and in the 1940 Moscow Peace Treaty the city was ceded to the Soviet Union. As a result of this, the club was in effect dissolved. A new bandy club called Hukat was formed in Helsinki, its players consisting mostly of former ViPS players. Sporting achievements ViPS won the Finnish championship in bandy in 1931 and 1936, silver in 1934, and bronze in 1932 and 1933. 	Åbo IFK Åbo IFK (or ÅIFK for short) is a sports club from Turku, Finland. The club was founded in 1908, and originally represented the Swedish-speaking minority of Turku/Åbo. Background The greatest successes of ÅIFK have come in football where it has won three Finnish championship titles, in 1910, 1920 and 1924. It has played a total of 9 seasons in the Finnish premier division Mestaruussarja, the last occasion in 1967.
