1913 Copa Del Rey
The 1913 Copa del Rey comprised two different competitions held the same year. Due to disagreements between the Royal Spanish Football Federation ( es, Real Federación Española de Fútbol, RFEF) and some clubs, in 1913 two parallel competitions were held: an "official", organized by the FEF (Federación Española de Fútbol), in Madrid and an "unofficial", organized by the UECF (Unión Española de Clubes de Fútbol), in Barcelona. Both are currently recognized as official by the RFEF. Royal Spanish Football Federation
The Royal Spanish Football Federation ( es, Real Federación Española de Fútbol; RFEF) is the governing body of football in Spain. It is based in La Ciudad del Fútbol of Las Rozas, a municipality near Madrid. It was founded on 14 October 1909 as ''Federación Española de Clubs de Football'', and officially founded on 29 September 1913. It administers the competition committee (including the handling of the trophy) of the Campeonato Nacional de Liga: the Primera División and the Segunda División, even though they are organized by LaLiga. Real Vigo Sporting Club, was a Spanish football club based in Vigo, Galicia, founded in 1905. Background Vigo was one of the cities through which football entered the Iberian Peninsula, thanks to British sailors and workers. The first demonstrations of the sport were made by the team of the British company Electric Telegraph Company, which was installing the telegraph cable between the islands and Vigo, to connect with Lisbon from there. Pontevedra Club de Fútbol, S.A.D. is a Spanish football team in Pontevedra, in the autonomous community of Galicia. Apolinario Rodríguez
Alejandro Rodríguez Apolinario (1 October 1892 - 28 October 1972) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for FC Barcelona. The highlight of his career was winning the treble with Barcelona in the 1912–13 season ( Catalan championship, Copa del Rey and Pyrenees Cup), in which he contributed with the winning goal of the 1913 UECF Copa del Rey Final against Real Sociedad. The Campeonato de España–Copa de Su Majestad el Rey, commonly known as Copa del Rey or simply La Copa and formerly known as Copa del Presidente de la República (1932–36) and Copa del Generalísimo (1939–76), is an annual knockout football competition in Spanish football, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Ramón Belauste
Ramón Belausteguigoitia Landaluce (27 October 1891 - 1 January 1981), also known as Belauste II, was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward. He spent all of his playing career with Athletic Bilbao, thus being a historical member of the club and part of the so-called one-club men group. He played a pivotal role in the club's three back-to-back Copa del Rey titles between 1914 and 1916. His brother, José María Belauste, was also a footballer. Extra Time
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same. Manuel Prast
Manuel Prast Rodríguez de Llano was a footballer who played as a striker for Madrid FC between 1904–1908 and 1912–1914. He was a historical member of Madrid FC, playing a pivotal role in Madrid's four back-to-back Copa del Rey titles between 1905 and 1908, playing in all the finals and remarkably, netting in three of them, including the winning goals in the finals of 1905 and 1907 and a brace in the 1906. After retiring he become a referee and he was also an entrepreneur and owner of the family business called Confitería Prast, a confectionery founded by his father and which he took care of together with his brothers. Patricio Arabolaza
Patricio Arabolaza Aranburu (17 March 1893 – 12 March 1935) was a Spanish football player who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics. He is best known for scoring the first goal in the history of the Spain national team. Club career Born in Irun, Gipuzkoa, Patricio began playing football with hometown club Racing de Irún in 1909, helping the club win the 1913 Copa del Rey Final by scoring a goal in a 2-2 draw against Athletic Bilbao, eventually winning the replay 1-0 in the following day.
