The Netherlands national football team ( nl, Nederlands voetbalelftal or simply ''Het Nederlands elftal'') has represented the Netherlands in international men's football matches since 1905. Belgian First Division
The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League. Seasons run from early August to late April, with teams playing 34 matches each in the regular season, and then entering Play-offs I (also known as the ''Championship Playoff'', ''title playoffs'' or ''Champions' play-offs'') or Play-offs II (also known as the ''Europa League playoff'' or ''Europe play-offs'') according to their position in the regular season. Pierre-Joseph Destrebecq
Pierre-Joseph Destrebecq (18 June 1881 – 7 December 1945) was a Belgian international football player. He played as striker in Union Saint-Gilloise, Racing Club de Bruxelles and Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht. With the national side, he also played the first official match of the Belgium national team against France on 1 May 1904. The encounter resulted in a 3–3 draw and Destrebecq scored once in this match. He scored 30 goals in 81 first division games. Hector "Torten" Goetinck (5 March 1886 – 26 June 1943) was a Belgian football (soccer) player and manager. Guillaume Van Den Eynde
Guillaume Isaac Van Den Eynde (12 October 1884 – 19 October 1948) was a Belgian footballer. He played in 13 matches for the Belgium national football team from 1904 to 1912. Career He was a defender before the First World War, playing for Brussels-based club Union Saint-Gilloise, with whom he won six Belgian First Division titles. On 7 May 1910, however, Van Den Eynde committed a serious foul during a match of the ''Tournoi International de l'Exposition'' in Brussels. It caused a double fracture of the leg of Club Brugge midfielder Charles Cambier. He was suspended for life when he was only 26 years old, by the Belgian federation, the URBSFA. His suspension was eventually lifted in 1912. In total, he played 140 matches in the First Division and scored 19 goals.
