''10 Minutes'' is a 2002 short film contrasting ten minutes in the life of a Japanese tourist in Rome with the bloody drama of a Bosnian family taking place at the same time less than an hour away in the besieged city of Sarajevo during the Bosnian War. It was directed by Ahmed Imamović. Srđan Vuletić
Srđan Vuletić (born 1971) is a Bosnian filmmaker. Personal life Vuletić was born in Bijeljina, Bosnia and Herzegovina and attended school in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the age of eighteen he enrolled the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, dept. of directing, where he directed three plays: Pirandelo's ''The Naked Life'', Ionesco's ''The Leader'' and Buchner's ''Woyczek'', as well as a number of student films and exercises. The 1992-1995 war in Bosnia interrupted his editing of the documentary ''The Orthodox Church''. In the war he joined a hospital crew as a medical technician, an experience that later inspired his film ''I Burnt Legs''. Also, during the war he produced documentary film about eight Sarajevo artists and the exhibition they held during this period and which was later to become the official Bosnian entry to the 45th Venice Biennale. Bosnian War
The Bosnian War ( sh, Rat u Bosni i Hercegovini / Рат у Босни и Херцеговини) was an international armed conflict that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina between 1992 and 1995. The war is commonly seen as having started on 6 April 1992, following a number of earlier violent incidents. The war ended on 14 December 1995 when the Dayton accords were signed. The main belligerents were the forces of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and those of Herzeg-Bosnia and Republika Srpska, proto-states led and supplied by Croatia and Serbia, respectively. The war was part of the breakup of Yugoslavia.
