Clyde 1 is an Independent Local Radio station based in Glasgow, Scotland, owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Hits Radio network. It broadcasts to Glasgow and West Central Scotland. As of September 2022, the station has a weekly audience of 678,000 listeners according to RAJAR. History Clyde 1 was born out of the compulsory transmission splitting enforced by the UK regulators in the 1990s, developing the FM frequency into Radio Clyde into a Top-40 format radio station. The development of live-streaming and digital radio led to a widening of the station's potential audience through carriage on thstation's websiteand Bauer Radio's DAB multiplex in Glasgow. The station's Freeview carriage came as a consequence of the closure of stable-mate 3C by the station's then-owners, and resulted in UK-wide coverage until it was removed on 30 October 2008. Forth 1 is an Independent Local Radio station based in Edinburgh, Scotland, owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Hits Radio network. It broadcasts to Edinburgh, Lothian and Fife. As of September 2022, the station has a weekly audience of 315,000 listeners according to RAJAR. History Radio Forth was launched on 22 January 1975 by current chairman Richard Findlay. His opening speech included "This, for the very first time is Radio Forth". Steve Hamilton was the first on-air presenter, hosting the breakfast show. In 1990, Forth was forced to create a new station on its AM frequency. Before this, Radio Forth was broadcast as a single station on both FM and AM frequencies. Clydebank ( gd, Bruach Chluaidh) is a town in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. Costadinos Contostavlos (Greek: Κωνσταντίνος Κοντόσταυλος; born 11 June 1987), better known by his stage name Dappy, is a British rapper and singer. He is the lead singer of the Camden-based hip hop and grime trio N-Dubz, with his cousin Tulisa and Fazer. The Vamps (British Band)
The Vamps are a British pop band consisting of Brad Simpson, James Brittain-McVey, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans. They formed in 2012 and signed to Mercury Records (now Virgin EMI Records) in the November of the same year. In 2017, they had their first number 1 on the UK Albums Chart with '' Night & Day (Night Edition)''. Their first two albums, ''Meet The Vamps'' and '' Wake Up'' are both certified Gold in the UK. Cover Drive were a four-piece band from Barbados consisting of Amanda Reifer, T-Ray Armstrong, Barry "Bar-Man" Hill and Jamar Harding. They have gained commercial success in the United Kingdom.
