100th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (Donetsk People's Republic)
The 100th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Order of Republic Brigade (russian: 100-я отдельная гвардейская мотострелковая ордена Республики бригада, 100 омсбр) is military unit of 1st Army Corps, that forms the army of the Donetsk People's Republic. Serving as an element under the 1st Army Corps of the DPR's Ministry of Defence, it is tasked with defence of its assigned territories using rapid reaction, reconnaissance and spetsnaz components. The unit was established as Republican Guard of the DPR (''Республиканская гвардия ДНР'') on January 12, 2015. On August 15, 2015 it was renamed as 100th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade as a Russian military unit № 08826 (в/ч 08826). The Donetsk People's Militia and Luhansk People's Militia (formerly also called Russian separatist forces in Donbas) are pro-Russian paramilitaries in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, which have been fighting the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Russo-Ukrainian War. The battle of Marinka was a short battle in the War in Donbas in and around Marinka, Donetsk Oblast which took place on 3 June 2015.
