1999–2000 Welsh-Scottish League
Cardiff won the inaugural Welsh-Scottish League. However they lost their final match against Swansea at home thus losing an unbeaten home record that dated back to December 1997. The points system was complicated by the Rugby World Cup and only two points were awarded for a win prior to November 1999. Both Cardiff and Pontypridd were deducted points by playing Edinburgh during this World Cup period; although the matches were scheduled to take place outwith the World Cup. 1999-2000 League Table The top 5 Welsh teams plus Edinburgh and Glasgow qualified for next season's Heineken Cup. Cardiff Rugby Football Club ( cy, Clwb Rygbi Caerdydd) is a rugby union club based in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. Tommy Hayes (rugby Union, Born 1973)
Tommy Hayes (born 13 December 1973 in Tokoroa, New Zealand) is a Cook Island international rugby union player. He plays as a fly-half. Rugby Union career Amateur career Hayes started off with amateur club Waikato Rangers in New Zealand. As part of the Glasgow Warriors contract Hayes was allowed to play for the amateur side Glasgow Hawks when not on Warriors duty. The former Cook Islands international joined amateur side Moseley RFC for the second half of the 2006/07 season. He returned to Moseley for the latter part of the 2007/08 season after a spell at Gran Parma in Italy. He played with Coventry RFC (2009/2010), and Malvern RFC (2010/2012). Jason White (rugby Union)
Jason Phillip Randall White (born 17 April 1978) is a Scottish former rugby union footballer. He was a utility forward who played in the second or back row of the scrum – lock, flanker, or number eight. White played at club level for Glasgow Caledonians (now known as Glasgow Warriors); the French Top 14 side ASM Clermont Auvergne; and English Premiership side Sale Sharks. He won 77 caps playing for Scotland, captaining the side on 19 occasions. Hughenden is a multi-sports venue in the Hyndland area of Glasgow, Scotland. It has been the home since 1924 of Hillhead Sports Club, a private members' club catering for cricket, rugby union and tennis. Rubislaw Playing Fields in Aberdeen, Scotland is an sports field for Aberdeen Grammar School and for the Scottish Premiership rugby union team Aberdeen GSFP RFC. Gareth Flockhart (born 11 May 1972 in Scotland) is a Scottish former Scotland A international rugby union player who played for Glasgow Warriors and Caledonia Reds at the Flanker position. Netherdale is a sports complex in Galashiels, Scottish Borders, consisting of two adjacent stadiums used for rugby union and football.
