The 1999–00 Kazakhstan Cup is the eighth season of the Kazakhstan Cup, the annual nationwide football cup competition of Kazakhstan Kazakhstan, officially the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a transcontinental country located mainly in Central Asia and partly in Eastern Europe. Pavlodar ( ; ) is a city in northeastern Kazakhstan and the capital of Pavlodar Region. Pavlodar Central Stadium ( kk, Орталық стадион, ''Ortalyq stadıon'') is a multi-purpose stadium in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan. The former name of the stadium was "Traktor". It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Irtysh. History The football arena has been in use since 1947. "Central" was refurbished in 2001, 2007 and 2015. In the 2007–2008 season, the outdated scoreboard was replaced with a new LCD monitor, with the ability to display match moments and reports from other games. Viktor Yegorovich Zubarev (russian: Виктор Егорович Зубарев) (10 April 1973 – 18 October 2004) was a football forward from Kazakhstan. He was nicknamed ''Uncle Stepan'' (дядя Стёпа). Career He played for Batyr, Irtysh and Esil Bogatyr in his native country, for Arsenal Tula and Lokomotiv Nizhny Novgorod in Russia, and for Apollon Limassol in Cyprus. International team Zubarev was called up by coach Serik Berdalin to represent the national team in a match against Pakistan for the 1998 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He scored his first hat-trick in this match, which Kazakhstan won 7–0. He would go on to score 12 goals in 18 caps, being the second top scorer of the national team, only surpassed by Ruslan Baltiev. Semey ( kk, Семей, Semei, سەمەي; cyrl, Семей ), until 2007 known as Semipalatinsk (russian: Семипала́тинск) and in 1917–1920 as Alash-kala ( kk, Алаш-қала, ''Alaş-qala''), is a city in eastern Kazakhstan, in the Kazakh part of Siberia. Taldykorgan ( kk, Талдықорған/Taldyqorğan; russian: Талдыкорган), known as ''Taldy-Kurgan'' until 1993, is the capital (called an administrative center) of Zhetysu Region, Kazakhstan. According to the 2010 Kazakh Census Results, the population is 143,407. The town was founded in the 19th century as the village of Gavrilovka and developed into the present city on the same site. The town grew slowly in its early years. After the completion of the railway connection many Russian farmers moved to the area of the town. Oskemen ( kk, Өскемен, translit=Öskemen ), or Ust-Kamenogorsk (russian: Усть-Каменого́рск), is the administrative center of East Kazakhstan Region of Kazakhstan. Vostok Stadium
Vostok Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Oskemen, Kazakhstan. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of FC Vostok. History Stadium "Vostok" is the largest sports facility in Oskemen, Ust-Kamenogorsk. It was inaugurated in 1963. It has a capacity for 8,500 spectators. It is mainly used for soccer matches, sometimes it is used as a concert venue. It is the home arena for the local soccer team Vostok. Since 2005, the issue of required repairs due to deterioration has been resolved.
