Mikael Piltz
Mikael Piltz (born 10 May 1967) is a Finnish professional golfer who played on the Challenge Tour and briefly on the European Tour. Career Piltz turned professional in 1989 and played on the Swedish Golf Tour. He then joined the Challenge Tour, where he was runner-up at the 1992 Volvo Finnish Open before winning the 1994 Volvo Finnish Open, following a playoff with Joakim Grönhagen. The win earned him an invitation to the 1995 Sarazen World Open at Chateau Elan Legends course in Braselton, Georgia. He made 11 starts and 5 cuts on the 1994 European Tour, finding himself back on the Challenge Tour, where he was runner-up at the 2001 Russian Open behind Jamie Donaldson. Piltz represented Finland at four World Cups (1991, 1992, 1994, 2000) with a best finish of 21st together with Kalle Väinölä in 2000. Peter Gustafsson
Peter Gustafsson (born 17 August 1976) is a Swedish professional golfer, born in Orust, Sweden. He turned professional in 1999. After just missing out on automatic graduation from the Challenge Tour in 2004, Gustafsson was medalist at the European Tour Qualifying School to gain his place on the European Tour for 2005. In his début season he was runner up in two tournaments, the Jazztel Open de España en AndalucÃa and the Omega European Masters, and finished in 46th place on the Order of Merit. Despite that, he missed out on the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year award, which went to Gonzalo Fernández-Castaño of Spain. In subsequent seasons, he was unable to consistently produce those same high levels of performance, and lost his place on the European Tour in 2007. Thomas Nørret
Thomas Nørret (born 17 February 1974) is a Danish professional golfer. Career Nørret turned professional in 1999 at the relatively late age of 25, having spent time studying in both Denmark and the United States. He immediately joined the second-tier Challenge Tour and found instant success, posting two runners-up finishes in his debut season and finishing 25th in the final standings, just outside the automatic qualifiers for the European Tour. Nørret became a Challenge Tour regular over the following seasons, claiming his first win in 2002 at the Volvo Finnish Open after a six-month break, but never improved on his 1999 performance, and in 2009 he took a break from tournament golf to manage young players, returning only for a few events in 2006 and 2009. Klas Eriksson
Klas Eriksson (born 30 July 1971) is a Sweden, Swedish professional golfer. Eriksson was born in Växjö and turned professional in 1991 having won the European Amateur and the French Amateur Stoke Play Championship the previous year. He finished 45th on the Order of Merit in his rookie season, but injuries and putting problems meant he failed to retain his card at the end of the 1998 season and he was back on the Challenge Tour in 1999. Eriksson graduated from the Challenge Tour for a second time in 2001 by finishing 7th on the Rankings having won for the fourth time on the tour at the Talma Finnish Challenge. He maintained his playing status on the European Tour for four seasons before again returning to the Challenge Tour. Øyvind Rojahn
Øyvind Rojahn (born 8 November 1971) is a Norwegian professional golfer. He was national champion twice and played on the European Tour, where his best finish was runner-up at the 1995 Air France Cannes Open. Amateur career Rojahn hails from Sarpsborg, south east of Oslo, and was introduced to golf at the age of six by his father, who was chairman of Borregaard Golf Club. Rojahn became a scratch player by 14, the same year he won the Trophy Topolino in Sanremo, Italy. He also won the Doug Sanders European Junior Championship. He joined the National Team and played for Norway three times in the European Amateur Team Championship with a best finish of 6th in 1989, and three times in the Eisenhower Trophy with a best finish of 8th in 1992 in Vancouver, Canada. The Swedish PGA Championship for men is a golf tournament played annually in Sweden since 1970. It has been an event on the Swedish Golf Tour schedule since 1984 and the Nordic Golf League since 1999. History From its beginning in 1970, it was a championship for members of the PGA of Sweden. Since 1986, the tournament has been open to foreign players. The tournament was part of the Challenge Tour from 1990 to 1996 and from 2001 to 2005. Since 1984, when tournament professionals had been dominating the event for several years, there is also a Swedish PGA Club Pro Championship, limited to club professionals in Sweden, with separate competitions for men, women and senior men categories. Anders Schmidt Hansen (born 31 January 1978) is a Danish professional golfer. Hansen won his national open in 1999 as an amateur, before turning professional in 2003 at the age of 25. At the end of that year he reached the final stage of the European Tour's Qualifying School, entitling him to play on the second-tier Challenge Tour in 2004. He played thirteen Challenge Tour events in 2004, but recorded only one top-10 finish and ended 108th on the money list. However, this still gained him entry to most Tour events in 2005, and he enjoyed a far more successful year, with a runners-up place at the Galeria Kaufhof Pokal Challenge, and finishing 42nd on the money list.
