CE Principat
Club Esportiu Principat was an Andorran football club created in 1989, based in the city of Andorra la Vella. Was one of the most successful football clubs in Andorra along with FC Santa Coloma and UE Sant Julià, having won three times the Andorran Premier League and five times the Andorran Cup. The club was dissolved in 2015. History The club was founded in 1989 by ''Penya Madridista Restaurant Charlie's'' ( Real Madrid Supporters' Club of Charlie's Restaurant) as Club Esportiu Principat. CE Principat was the main club in Andorra la Vella having achieved the record of three consecutives league victories between 1997 and 1999 and five consecutives cup trophies between 1995 and 1999. Since the creation of the Andorran Premier League in 1995 CE Principat was playing in the top flight until 2014 after finishing 8th in the regular league. Unió Esportiva Sant Julià, also known as UE Sant Julià, is an Andorran football club based in the parish of Sant Julià de Lòria. The club currently plays in Primera Divisió. History Founded in 1982 UE Sant Julià is the main football club of the Andorran Southern parish of Sant Julià de Lòria. The team have been playing in the top flight since the foundation of the Andorran Premier League in 1995. Since then UE Sant Julià have won the Andorran championship twice ( 2004–05 and 2008–09) and are five time Copa Constitució winners (2008, 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2015). Segona Divisió
The Segona Divisió (Second Division), or Lliga UNIDA for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest level of men's football in Andorra. Former FC Santa Coloma reserve team were renamed UE Santa Coloma for 2007–08 (therefore eligible for promotion) and finally gained access to the Primera Divisió after finishing top place. Penya Encarnada d'Andorra are the current holders, having won the 2021–22 title and earning promotion to the Primera Divisió. Stadiums The Andorran Football Federation organizes the matches of Primera Divisió and Segona Divisió in the stadiums owned by the local federation. Constel·lació Esportiva was an Andorran football club from Andorra La Vella. The team began play in the Andorran First Division ( Campionat de Lliga) in 1998 and dominated the league in 2000, beating FC Encamp 6–0 in the championship. That summer, the Andorran Football Federation accused the team of trying to buy players from other teams, there were financial irregularities, and the team did not want to divide its winnings from the UEFA cup with the league. UE Extremenya is an Andorran football club based in the parish of La Massana. The club currently plays in Segona Divisió. History The club was founded in 1998 as CE Cerni. The club played the 1998–99 Campionat de Lliga, being relegated to the Segona Divisió at the end of the season. They stayed in the Second Division until the coming back in the top flight during the 2002–03 season. The club was relegated after finishing 8th at the end of the regular season. The club suffered another relegation to the Second Division for the 2005–06 season after one year in the top division. The 2005–06 season in the Andorran Premier League was a catastrophe with only one point in 20 games (1–1 at home against CE Principat on 12 February 2006). History Inter Club d'Escaldes was founded in Escaldes-Engordany in 1991 and being founder member of Primera Divisió in 1995, the Premier League of Andorra.
