Isaac Molinero
Isaac; grc, Ἰσαάκ, Isaák; ar, إسحٰق/إسحاق, Isḥāq; am, ይስሐቅ is one of the three patriarchs of the Israelites and an important figure in the Abrahamic religions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Konstantin Semyonov ( he, קונסטנטין סמיונוב; born 20 November 1969 in the Soviet Union) is a retired Israeli pole vaulter. Before becoming an Israeli citizen he won the bronze medal at the 1992 European Indoor Championships for the Unified Team and became Belarusian national champion in 1993. He then finished eighth at the 1996 European Indoor Championships. He also competed at the 1995 World Championships and the 1996 Summer Olympics without reaching the final. His personal best is 5.76 metres, achieved in July 1996 in Tel Aviv. Rens Blom
Rens Blom (born 1 March 1977) is a Dutch retired athlete competing in pole vault. Life Blom was born in Munstergeleen. He achieved a vault of 5.75 as early as in 2000, but five years passed without much further progress. However, on 8 June 2004 in Zaragoza, he set the Dutch record with 5.81. In 2005, he consolidated his position by clearing 5.80 early in May. At the 2005 World Championships in Athletics, he once again achieved 5.80 and won the gold medal. It was the first Dutch gold medal at a World Championship. In addition, Blom has won five national championships and four national indoor championships. The year 2006 turned out to be a frustrating year for Blom, full of bad luck and injuries. Problems with his shoulder, knees and Achilles tendons resulting in an operation caused 2006 to become a "lost" year for the passionate Dutchman. Nick Buckfield
Nicholas ("Nick") Jean Buckfield (born 5 June 1973) is an English former pole vaulter. Athletics career During his youth he was a talented footballer, turning down a youth training contract with Aldershot F.C. at the age of 16. He was educated at Brunel University London, where he studied Religious Studies and Sports Sciences. He finished fifth in the 1997 World Championships and narrowly missed out on medals at the 2002 and 2006 Commonwealth Games. His career suffered setbacks due to a series of injuries, fracturing his pelvis whilst competing at the 1998 European Athletics Championships, suffering an abdominal injury after falling onto his pole at a meeting in Cottbus in 2004, and sustaining an Achilles tendon rupture in 2006. He retired from competition in 2008. His personal best jump was 5.80 metres, achieved in May 1998 in Chania.
