Dave Roberts (born February 28, 1947) is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Western Kentucky University (1984–1988), Northeast Louisiana University (1989–1993), and Baylor University (1997–1998), compiling a career college football record of 67–68–3. Coaching career Northeast Louisiana Roberts was the eighth head football coach for the Northeast Louisiana Indians (since renamed the Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks) located in Monroe, Louisiana and he held that position for five seasons, from 1989 until 1993. The 1998 Oklahoma Sooners football team represented the University of Oklahoma during the 1998 NCAA Division I-A football season. The Sooners went 3-5 in Big 12 Conference play, and 5-6 overall. As of the 2022 season, this was the last time the Sooners failed to qualify for a bowl game. The 1998 Kansas State Wildcats football team represented Kansas State University in the 1998 NCAA Division I-A football season. The team's head football coach was Bill Snyder. The Wildcats played their home games in KSU Stadium. 1998 saw the Wildcats finish with a record of 11–2, and an 8–0 record in Big 12 Conference play.
