FK Chmel Blšany
FK Chmel Blšany was a Czech football club based in the village of Blšany. The club played in the Czech First League between 1998 and 2006 and was the first professional club of goalkeeper Petr Čech. The club disbanded in 2016 after resigning from the 2016-17 regional championship (5th tier of the Czech Republic football league system). The club was established as Sokol Blšany in 1946. The club played at the Městský Stadion with capacity of 2,300 seats. That meant that even with every citizen of Blšany village in the stand, there would be still about 1,500 free seats. The 1998–99 Czech Cup was the fifth season of the annual football knock-out tournament of the Czech Republic. Winners Jablonec qualified for the 1998–99 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. Teams Preliminary round 44 teams took part in the preliminary round. Round 1 74 teams entered the competition at this stage. Along with the 22 winners from the preliminary round, these teams played 48 matches to qualify for the second round. Round 2 Round 3 Round 4 The fourth round was played on 7 and 8 April 1998. Petr Vrabec
Petr Vrabec (born 5 June 1962) is a Czech football manager and former player. He won six Czechoslovak First League titles with Sparta Prague at club level. Vrabec also represented Czechoslovakia, playing three times and scoring once in 1993. Playing career Club career As a player, Vrabec won six league titles in eight seasons with Sparta Prague, racking up 168 appearances and 21 goals between 1985 and 1993. During the 1991–92 European Cup he scored three goals for the club, including one at the Nou Camp stadium against FC Barcelona. In 1993, he went to Germany to play for Stuttgarter Kickers before returning to his homeland with Viktoria Žižkov in the 1994–95 season. Vrabec played in European competitions with Žižkov, scoring in the 4–3 aggregate win in the qualifying round of the 1994–95 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup against IFK Norrköping. Marek Nikl
Marek Nikl (born 20 February 1976) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a centre back, most notably for 1. FC Nürnberg. He made five appearances for the Czech Republic national team. Career Nikl spent most of his early footballing years with Prague-based club Bohemians – with a short spell at Sparta Krc in the 1994–95 season – before joining then newly promoted Bundesliga side 1. FC Nürnberg in November 1998 for the remainder of the 1998–99 season. He played in all 22 games after his arrival in Franconia but could not prevent the side going down despite scoring his first goal for the ''Club'' in the final game of the season. Moravian-Silesian Football League
The Moravian-Silesian Football League (MSFL) ( cs, Moravskoslezská fotbalová liga) is one of the third level football leagues in the Czech Republic (the other is the Bohemian Football League) headquartered in Olomouc. The league comprises teams from the historic regions of Moravia and Silesia and partially also Bohemia. The league was formed in 1991 during the Czechoslovakia era, replacing the former ''II.ČNL'' (II. Česká národni liga; Second Czech National League) at the third tier of Czechoslovak football alongside sister league ČFL. The winner of MSFL is promoted to the Czech National Football League. FK Ústí Nad Labem
FK Ústí nad Labem is a Czech football club based in the city of Ústí nad Labem. Currently the club plays in the Bohemian Football League. The club has played at the top level of national football on three occasions, most recently in the 2010–11 season. However their joy was short-lived as they were immediately relegated. History The club was established in 1945 under the name SK Ústí nad Labem. It played in the Czechoslovak First League in 1952 and 1958–59 seasons.
