Italian Television
Television in Italy was introduced in 1939, when the first experimental broadcasts began. However, this lasted for a very short time: when fascist Italy entered World War II in 1940 all transmissions were interrupted, and were resumed in earnest only nine years after the end of the conflict, on January 3, 1954. There are two main national television organisations responsible for most viewing: state-owned RAI, accounting for 37% of the total viewing figures in May 2014, and Mediaset, a commercial network which holds about 33%. The third largest player, the Italian branch of Warner Bros. Discovery, had a viewing share of 5.8%. Apart from these three free to air companies, Comcast's satellite pay TV platform Sky Italia is increasing in viewing and shares. Noddy's Toyland Adventures
''Noddy's Toyland Adventures'' is a British children's television programme that was broadcast from September 1992 until April 1994 and December 1994, and again in 2000 on the BBC. It was produced by Cosgrove Hall Films in stop-motion animation. The show featured the memorable voice acting talents of voice actors and television writers Susan Sheridan and Jimmy Hibbert (both of whom also worked on the version of ''The Little Polar Bear'' for the United Kingdom, as well as the later 'also Cosgrove Hall produced' television series CITV's ''The Animal Shelf''), with every episode being written by Julia and Chris Allen respectively during its broadcast run. The composer Paul K. Joyce sings the theme song to this series. Christopher Lee
Sir Christopher Frank Carandini Lee (27 May 1922 – 7 June 2015) was an English actor and singer. In a long career spanning more than 60 years, Lee often portrayed villains, and appeared as Count Dracula in seven Hammer Horror films, ultimately playing the role nine times. Merneptah or Merenptah (reigned July or August 1213 BC – May 2, 1203 BC) was the fourth pharaoh of the Nineteenth Dynasty of Ancient Egypt. Sir Ben Kingsley (born Krishna Pandit Bhanji; 31 December 1943) is an English actor. Roger E. Young (born May 13, 1942 in Champaign, Illinois) is an American TV and film director. Career Young graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the University of Illinois. He worked as a producer-director at Channel 6, the NBC affiliate in Indianapolis, Indiana. He then moved to Chicago and became a producer for Foote-Cone & Belding Advertising, where he produced national commercials.
