1995 FIVB Volleyball World League
The 1995 FIVB Volleyball World League was the sixth edition of the annual men's international volleyball tournament, played by 12 countries from 19 May to 9 July 1995. FIVB Volleyball World League
The FIVB Volleyball World League was an annual international men's volleyball competition. Created in 1990, it was the longest and richest of all the international events organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). The women's version of the competition was called FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, World Championship, the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup, World Cup and the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Champions Cup, World Grand Champions Cup. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. Mineirinho
Mineirinho Arena (officially Estádio Jornalista Felipe Drummond), sometimes called just Mineirinho, is the biggest indoor sporting arena in Brazil. Located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, the arena holds 25,000 people. Mineirinho is located in the Sports Complex of Mineirão Stadium in the Pampulha, which was one of the headquarters of the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The nickname (''small Mineiro'') is due to being located close to the larger Mineirão (''big Mineiro''), the stadium. Ginásio Do Maracanãzinho
Ginásio Gilberto Cardoso or Ginásio do Maracanãzinho, sometimes called just Maracanãzinho ("Little Maracanã" or "Mini Maracanã"), is an indoor arena located in Maracanã in the north zone of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is used mostly for volleyball. Its formal name, Ginásio Gilberto Cardoso, honors a former Clube de Regatas do Flamengo president. The capacity of the arena is 11,800 and it was opened in 1954. It stands next to the Maracanã Stadium. History Maracanãzinho's construction started on April 13, 1954 and lasted for only five months. It was built by Construtora Prolar S.A. Pasquale Gravina (born 1 May 1970 in Campobasso, Molise) is a manager and a former Italian professional volleyball player. Athlete Gravina is 201 cm and played as middle attacker. After some experiences for minor leagues, he made his debut in the Italian volleyball championship first division in 1988, for Falconara. His qualities, especially in block actions, made him a choice for a top team: Maxicono Parma in 1990. In this club he won the ''scudetto'' in 1992 and 1993.
