Pedro Pedrossian
Pedro Pedrossian (13 August 1928 – 22 August 2017) was a Brazilian politician. A member of the Party of National Mobilization, he served two terms as the List of Governors of Mato Grosso do Sul, Governor of Mato Grosso do Sul. The first term (1980–83) was an appointed role, before being elected to office in 1991. His term ended in 1994. He also served as the Governor of Mato Grosso between 1966 and 1971. He was born in Miranda, Mato Grosso do Sul, Miranda, Mato Grosso do Sul. A civil engineer by profession, he graduated from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, São Paulo. Pedrossian died on 22 August 2017 in Campo Grande, at the age of 89. Agenor Rezende
Agenor (; Ancient Greek: Ἀγήνωρ or Αγήνορας ''Agēnor''; English translation: "heroic, manly") was in Greek mythology and history a Phoenician king of Tyre or Sidon. The Doric Greek historian Herodotus (c. 484–425 BC), born in the city of Halicarnassus under the Achaemenid Empire, estimated that Agenor lived either 1000 or 1600 years prior to his visit to Tyre in 450 BC at the end of the Greco-Persian Wars (499–449 BC). He was said to have reigned in that city for 63 years. Family Agenor was born in Memphis of Egypt to Poseidon and Libya and he had a twin brother named Belus. The latter remained in Egypt and reigned over there while Agenor departed to Phoenicia and reigned there. In a rare version of the myth, Agenor and Belus had another brother named Enyalios. Iris Rezende Machado (22 December 1933 – 9 November 2021) was a Brazilian politician who was a member of the Brazilian Democratic Movement (MDB). Biography Rezende made his career in the state of Goiás, being City Councillor and Mayor of Goiânia, State Deputy in Goiás, State Governor for two terms, Minister of Agriculture during José Sarney government, and Minister of Justice in the government of Fernando Henrique Cardoso. He was married to Homonymous Íris Araújo. City Councillor in 1958, State Deputy in 1962, and Mayor of Goiânia in 1965, Rezende was removed from office by the military regime in 1969. He was elected Governor of Goiás in 1982, but resigned after his nomination for the Ministry of Agriculture by president Sarney. Rejzende returned to the State Government in 1991, where he remained in office until his second resignation in 1994 to run for the Federal Senate.
