Football League (Greece)
The Football League ( el, Φούτμπολ Λιγκ) was the second highest professional football league in Greece since its inception in 1962 as ''Beta Ethniki'' and until 2019. It then served as a third tier after the creation of the Super League 2 as the new second tier and it was eventually abolished in 2021 when the 2021–22 Super League 2 went from a 12 team to a 36 team league, absorbing most of the clubs from the Football League. Kalamata F
Kalamáta ( el, Καλαμάτα ) is the second most populous city of the Peloponnese peninsula, after Patras, in southern Greece and the largest city of the homonymous administrative region. As the capital and chief port of the Messenia regional unit, it lies along the Nedon River at the head of the Messenian Gulf. The 2011 census recorded 69,849 inhabitants for the wider Kalamata Municipality, of which, 62,409 resided in the municipal unit of Kalamata, and 54,567 in the city proper. Zdenko Muf
Zdenko Muf (Serbian Cyrillic: Зденко Муф; born 21 July 1971) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Playing career Born in Smederevska Palanka, Muf started out at his local club Mladost Goša, before moving to Radnički Beograd still as a junior. He spent five years at the club, making his First League of FR Yugoslavia debut in the 1992–93 season. Alongside his teammate Vladan Milojević, Muf moved abroad in the summer of 1993, signing with Greek club PAS Giannina. He was the Beta Ethniki top scorer with 29 goals from 33 appearances in the 1993–94 season. Subsequently, together with Milojević, Muf was transferred to Kalamata, helping the club win promotion to the top flight in 1995. The 1994–95 Gamma Ethniki was the 12th season since the official establishment of the third tier of Greek football in 1983. Doxa Vyronas and Kastoria were crowned champions in ''Southern'' and ''Northern'' Group respectively, thus winning promotion to Beta Ethniki. Panelefsiniakos and Trikala also won promotion as a runners-up of the groups. Acharnaikos, Egaleo, Messolonghi, Sparti, Kilkisiakos, Pandramaikos, Iraklis Ptolemaida and Acheron Kanallaki were relegated to Delta Ethniki.
