The 1992 Caribbean Cup (known as the Shell Caribbean Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the fourth edition of the Caribbean Cup, the football championship of the Caribbean, one of the CONCACAF zones. The final stage was hosted by Trinidad and Tobago. 1991 Caribbean Cup
The 1991 Caribbean Cup (known as the Shell Caribbean Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the third edition of the Caribbean Cup, the football championship of the Caribbean, one of the CONCACAF zones. The final round of the competition was held from the 24 May to 2 June and saw six teams qualifying through to the final round where they joined defending champions Trinidad and Tobago and hosts Jamaica. The eight teams (seven after Cuba withdrew from the competition) were separated into two groups of four with the top two teams from each group qualifying through to the knockout stage where the semi-finals winners qualifying through to the Gold Cup which was held four weeks after the Caribbean tournament. In the final, Jamaica defeated Trinidad and Tobago 2-0 with goals from Paul Davis and Winston Anglin securing Jamaica's first title as they qualified to the Gold Cup with Trinidad and Tobago. Anguilla
Anguilla ( ) is a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean. It is one of the most northerly of the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles, lying east of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and directly north of Saint Martin. Clint Marcelle
Clint Sherwin Marcelle (born 9 November 1968) is a Trinidadian former professional footballer and coach. As a player he was a striker and between 1995 and 2006. He notably played Premier League football for Barnsley as well as also playing for Trintoc, RD Agueda, Vitoria Setubal, Rio Ave, FC Felgueiras, Scunthorpe United, Goole, Hull City, Darlington, Harrogate Town, Hucknall Town, Stevenage Borough, Ossett Town, Scarborough, Grimsby Town, Tamworth, Arnold Town, Gainsborough Trinity and Armthorpe Welfare. Russell Latapy
Russell Nigel Latapy CM (born 2 August 1968) is a Trinidadian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder, and is currently the assistant coach of Macarthur. In a senior career which spanned more than twenty years at both club and international level, he played in Portugal (eight years with three clubs, most notably Porto) and Scotland (eleven seasons representing four teams, Hibernian, Rangers, Dundee United and Falkirk). Extra Time
Overtime or extra time is an additional period of play specified under the rules of a sport to bring a game to a decision and avoid declaring the match a tie or draw where the scores are the same.
