1991 Swedish Golf Tour (women)
The 1991 Swedish Golf Tour, known as the Lancôme Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the sixth season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden. No single player won more than one title this season, while Marie Wennersten-From won her second Order of Merit following one victory and four runner-up finishes. Marie Wennersten-From
Marie Louise Inger Wennersten From (born 17 March 1958) is a retired Swedish professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour. Early life and amateur career Wennersten was born in Uddevalla on the west-coast of Sweden and played golf from age 10. As an amateur, representing Lyckorna Golf Club in Ljungskile south of Uddevalla, she won the Swedish Junior Match-play Championship in 1977 and the Swedish Match-play Championship in 1981, successfully defending the title in 1982. She represented Sweden at the European Lady Junior's Team Championship four times and was part of the Swedish team winning the 1978 event. Professional career In 1984, Wennersten enjoyed a spell on the LPGA Tour, with a best finish of T38 at the MasterCard International Pro-Am. The Haninge Ladies Open was a women's professional golf tournament held at Haninge Golf Club near Stockholm in Sweden. Heléne Elisabeth Koch (née Andersson) (born 9 May 1967) is a Swedish professional golfer. She played on the Ladies European Tour and was runner-up at the 1996 Costa Azul Ladies Open. Amateur career Koch was a member of the winning Swedish team at the European Ladies' Team Championship at Turnberry in 1987, together with Helen Alfredsson, Eva Dahllöf, Pia Nilsson, Sofia Grönberg, Malin Landehag and Margareta Bjurö. She teamed up with Helen Alfredsson and Eva Dahllöf again for the 1988 Espirito Santo Trophy, held at Drottningholm in Stockholm, where they finished second after the United States, the best Swedish finish to date. Anna Berg (born 25 April 1973) is a Swedish professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour. She was 1997 LET Rookie of the Year and runner-up at the Taiwan Ladies Open in 2001. Amateur career Berg was on the National Team and won silver at the inaugural European Girls' Team Championship in 1991 together with Maria Hjorth, Mia Löjdahl and Charlotta Sörenstam. In 1994, she won the European Lady Junior's Team Championship with the same teammates plus Linda Ericsson and Helena Olsson. Maria Hjorth
Maria Anna Hjorth (born 15 October 1973) is a Swedish professional golfer. Early years Hjorth was born in Falun. As the youngest of three daughters to Kjell and Monica Hjorth, she first gripped a golf club at three years of age. Six years old, she traveled with her family, to compete in the unofficial Swedish Championship for children, the Colgate Cup, for girls up to 10 years of age. After the round, her older sister helped her to count the score. Nordic skiing was a main interest during winter time. At ten years of age, Hjorth also began playing curling and later became the youngest ever individual winner of the Swedish Championship in curling. The Aspeboda Ladies Open was a women's professional golf tournament on the Swedish Golf Tour. It was played annually from the inception of the tour in 1986 until 1997.
