Canadian Football League East Division
The East Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League, its counterpart being the West Division. Although the CFL was not founded until 1958, the East Division and its clubs are descended from earlier leagues. The four teams in the division are the Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Montreal Alouettes, and Ottawa Redblacks. Several now-defunct teams have also played in the East Division including two teams from the United States and a large number of teams that have played in Hamilton, Montreal, and Ottawa prior to the current teams from those cities. The 1990 CFL season, 1990 Winnipeg Blue Bombers season was the 33rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 58th overall. The Blue Bombers finished in first place in the East Division with a 12–6 record, which was also the best record in the league that year. The 1990 Toronto Argonauts finished in second place in the East Division with a 10–8 record. They appeared in the Eastern Final. After being the CFL's passing leader (331-for-597 for 4,509 yards) in 1989 Matt Dunigan was in another blockbuster six-for-one player trade that sent him to the Argonauts. Alberta Golden Bears Football
The Alberta Golden Bears football team represents the University of Alberta in the sport of Canadian football in U Sports. The Golden Bears have been in competition since 1910 and the team has won three Vanier Cup national championships, in 1967, 1972, and most recently in 1980. The Golden Bears have also won 18 Hardy Cup conference titles, second only to the Saskatchewan Huskies who have won 19 of them.
