Chilean Primera División
The Chilean Primera División (English: First Division) is the top-tier league of the Chilean football league system. It is organized by the ''Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, ANFP''. The league is known as the Campeonato AFP PlanVital for sponsorship reasons. Format As of the 2018 season, 16 teams compete in the league, playing against each other two times, home and away. Relegation and promotion Currently, the two teams with the worst scores in the season, are relegated to Primera B, and replaced by the Champions and Runners-up of this Division. Qualification for international competitions The champions of the Campeonato are immediately qualified to the Copa Libertadores for the next year, as well as the second and third place. Huachipato
Club Deportivo Huachipato is a Chilean football club based in Talcahuano that is a current member of the Chilean Primera División. The club was founded 7 June 1947 and plays its home games at the Estadio CAP, which has a capacity of 10,500 people (all-seated). History In 1947, CD Huachipato was officially notarized, and the first official recorded game was played. The original fans were the local company employees of the steel industry in Huachipato. It took a few years for the club to achieve its first successes, obtaining regional championships in 1956 and 1964. Carlos Gustavo De Luca (born 13 February 1962) is an Argentine former footballer who played for various clubs in Argentina, Chile, Peru and Switzerland. Of those countries, he highlighted in Chile being goalscorer in its first division, second division and its national cup. He fought at the Falklands War (1982). Adrián Czornomaz (born April 30, 1968) is a former Argentine football player. He played as a striker for several teams, mainly from the Argentine Primera B Nacional, of which he is the all-time top goalscorer with 160. He is currently the manager of Talleres RE. An own goal, also called a self goal, is where a player performs actions that result in them or their team scoring a goal on themselves, often resulting in a point for the opposing team, such as when a football player kicks a ball into their own net or goal, awarding the other team a point. Estadio San Carlos De Apoquindo
Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo is a football stadium, in Las Condes in the metropolitan region of Santiago de Chile. It is used mostly for home matches stadium of the Chilean top club CD Universidad Católica which also owns the stadium. The stadium was built in 1988 and currently holds 14,118 people. At the club's beginning, all sports were on ''Santa Rosa de las Condes'' Stadium, which is a big sport centre that is going to be demolished and transported to San Carlos. The club president of the time ''Manuel Vélez Samaniego'' decided to open this sports complex. Fabián Raphael Estay Silva (born October 5, 1968) is a Chilean former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Estay played for club sides in Chile, Switzerland, Greece, Mexico and Colombia. At international level, he represented Chile at under-20 level in both the 1987 South American Championship and the 1987 FIFA World Youth Championship, where Chile reached the fourth place.
