PGA Tour
The PGA Tour (stylized in all capital letters as PGA TOUR by its officials) is the organizer of professional golf tours in the United States and North America. It organizes most of the events on the flagship annual series of tournaments also known as the PGA Tour, as well as PGA Tour Champions (age 50 and older) and the Korn Ferry Tour (for professional players who have not yet qualified to play on the PGA Tour), as well as PGA Tour Canada, PGA Tour Latinoamérica, and PGA Tour China. Brian Kamm
Brian Kamm (born September 3, 1961) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Kamm joined the PGA Tour in 1990, earning his card through qualifying school. He struggled during his rookie year on Tour, only cracking the top-50 once but he retained his card through qualifying school. In his second year on Tour his play improved and he recorded a tie for eighth finish at the Canadian Open (golf), Canadian Open. He was also in contention at the 1991 U.S. Open (golf), U.S. Open but shot a final round 79 (+7) and finished in a tie for 31st. He joined the Nationwide Tour in 1992 and quickly found success. He recorded nine top-10 finishes including a win at the Ben Hogan Panama City Beach Classic. This success helped him finish 7th on the money list, good enough for a PGA Tour card for 1993. Robert Gamez
Robert Anthony Gamez (born July 21, 1968) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Gamez was born in Las Vegas, and is of Mexican descent. He attended the University of Arizona where he was a member of the golf team. He played on the 1989 Walker Cup Team and dropped out of university to turn professional later that same year. Gamez has had what can be described as a hot and cold career as a professional golfer. He started out winning two tournaments in his rookie season on the Tour, including his first event, the Northern Telecom Tucson Open. Only three others: Marty Fleckman in 1967, Ben Crenshaw in 1973, and Garrett Willis in 2001, have won their first PGA Tour event as a member of the PGA Tour. Joel Edwards (golfer)
Joel Ashley Edwards (born November 22, 1961) is an American professional golfer. Early life Edwards was born in Dallas, Texas. He attended North Texas State University. Professional career Edwards turned professional in 1984. He has played on both the PGA Tour and its developmental tour. He has won once on each tour: the 2001 Air Canada Championship on the PGA Tour and the 1999 Nike Mississippi Gulf Coast Open. He lost his PGA Tour card in 2004 and competed on the Nationwide Tour through 2007. Jerry Anderson (golfer)
Gerald Ashton Anderson (22 September 1955 – 9 March 2018) was a Canadian professional golfer. Anderson was born in Montreal, Quebec and then moved to Cambridge, Ontario. Anderson played on the European Tour for most of the 1980s. In 1984 he won the Ebel European Masters – Swiss Open, by shooting a 27 under par total of 261, which was a record 72-hole score to par on the European Tour until Ernie Els shot a 29 under par score at the 2003 Johnnie Walker Classic. Anderson finished ninth on the European Tour Order of Merit in 1984, making it into the top fifty. He was a member of the U.S.-based PGA Tour in 1990 and 1992. He represented Canada at the Alfred Dunhill Cup in 1985 and at the World Cup in 1983, 1987, and 1989. He was inducted into the Ontario Golf Hall of Fame in 2002 and the PGA of Canada Hall of Fame in 2016. Anderson died in Kitchener, Ontario in 2018 at the age of 62. Mark Hayes (golfer)
Mark Stephen Hayes (July 12, 1949 – July 17, 2018) was an American professional golfer. He had three victories on the PGA Tour in the 1970s, including the 1977 Tournament Players Championship. He played in the 1979 Ryder Cup as a late replacement for Tom Watson. Early years and amateur career Born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Hayes played collegiately at Oklahoma State University, where he was a two-time All-American. He won the Sunnehanna Amateur in 1972. Professional career Hayes won three times on the PGA Tour: the Byron Nelson Golf Classic and Pensacola Open in 1976 and the Tournament Players Championship in 1977. He also won the PGA Tour-sponsored Tallahassee Open in 1986 and three Oklahoma Opens. Pat Fitzsimons
Pat Fitzsimons (born December 15, 1950) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nike Tour. Fitzsimons was born in Coos Bay, Oregon. He attended the University of Oregon. He turned professional in 1971. Fitzsimons had eleven top-10 finishes in official PGA Tour events including a win at the 1975 Glen Campbell-Los Angeles Open. His career year was 1975 when he received ''Golf Digests ''Most Improved Golfer'' award and was named Oregon's pro athlete of the year. His best finish in a major championship was T-9 at the 1975 U.S. Open. He lived in Prineville, Oregon during much of his regular career. Rick Fehr
Richard Elliott Fehr (born August 28, 1962) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Fehr was born in Seattle, Washington and grew up in the state of Washington. As a teenager, Fehr won the Washington State Junior and PGA National Junior tournaments in 1979. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and was a member of the golf team. He was a two-time All-American while at BYU and won numerous amateur tournaments, including the 1982 Western Amateur. He was the low amateur at both The Masters and the U.S. Open in 1984. Fehr turned pro in 1984 after earning his degree in finance; he joined the PGA Tour in 1985. Fehr won two PGA Tour events: the 1986 B.C. Open and the 1994 Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Classic. PGA Tour Canada, commonly referred to as the Canadian Tour, is a men's professional golf tour headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. The United States based PGA Tour took over operation of the tour on November 1, 2012, at which time it was renamed PGA Tour Canada. Kirk Alan Triplett (born March 29, 1962) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and PGA Tour Champions. Mike Schuchart
Mike Schuchart (born April 6, 1962) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour and is currently an assistant coach for the University of Nebraska's women's golf team, a position he has held since 2002. Schuhart is also a teaching professional at the Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln, Nebraska. Amateur career Schuchart was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He played college golf at the University of Nebraska for four years. He was named the Nebraska Amateur of the Year in 1984 and graduated from Nebraska in 1985. Grant Waite
Grant Osten Waite (born 11 August 1964) is a New Zealand professional golfer. Waite was born in Palmerston North, New Zealand. He has one PGA Tour victory, the Kemper Open in 1993, and finished second to Tiger Woods at the 2000 Bell Canadian Open. Waite won the New Zealand Open and the Trafalgar Capital Classic in 1992, and the Utah Open in 1993. In 1996, Waite shot a final round 60 in the Phoenix Open.
