Peggy Schwarz
Peggy Schwarz (born 4 September 1971 in Berlin) is a German retired pair skater. She first gained prominence skating with Alexander König. The duo captured a bronze medal at the 1988 European Figure Skating Championships and then won gold at the German Figure Skating Championships in 1992. They also competed in the Winter Olympics three times, finishing 7th in 1988, 1992, and again in 1994. Schwarz took a break from skating and gave birth to a son, Michel, in 1995. The following year, she joined forces with Mirko Müller. The pair went on to win three gold medals at the German nationals from 1998 to 2000. She currently works as a figure skating coach. Personal life Charlene Wong was born on March 4, 1966, in Montreal. She has two older siblings, a brother and sister. Career Wong was coached from her early years by Helen Ann Shields and also received lessons from Tommy Litz, Barbara Roles, Kathy Casey, and Osborne Colson. In 1986, she joined Peter Dunfield and Sonya Dunfield who would coach her until 1990. Wong won five medals at the Canadian Championships — four silver and one bronze. Patricia Neske (born 19 October 1966) is an American-born German former competitive figure skater. She represented Germany at the 1992 Winter Olympics, finishing 13th. Jill Ann Trenary (born August 1, 1968) is an American former figure skater. She is the 1990 World champion and a three-time U.S. national champion. She was inducted to the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 2002. Career Originally from Minnetonka, Minnesota, at the age of 16, she relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado to train with noted coach Carlo Fassi. Trenary won the U.S. junior title in 1985. During a warm-up in 1985, she collided with another skater, whose blade sliced Trenary's calf muscles and severed an artery in her left leg. Trenary placed 5th in her first senior national championships in 1986. Later that summer she won the U.S. Olympic Festival.
