Johan Ryström
Johan Börje Ryström (born 13 January 1964) is a Swedish professional golfer. Ryström grew up in Köping. He started playing golf at age six and was a scratch golfer by age fifteen. in August 1986, Ryström won the Nordic Championship over 72 holes in Hvide Klit, Denmark. Later that year he represented Sweden at the Eisenhower Trophy in Caracas, Venezuela, finishing 4th with his team and 9th individually. He turned professional after the 1986 season and won three times on the Challenge Tour. Marc Pendariès (born 26 June 1966) is a French professional golfer who is a former member of the European Tour. Career Pendariès had an impressive amateur career which included winning the French Junior National Championship three times, the Orange Bowl (Junior World Championship), and the 1985 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship with the Houston Cougars men's golf team. He was runner-up at the 1983 Boys Amateur Championship at Glenbervie Golf Club, Scotland, losing the final to José María Olazábal. He represented France at the 1982 Eisenhower Trophy and at the European Amateur Team Championship in 1983, 1985 and 1987. In 1987 he won the Swedish International Stroke Play Championship at Ullna Golf Club, one stroke ahead of Luis Carbonetti of Argentina. 1987 Swedish Golf Tour (women)
The 1987 Swedish Golf Tour was the second season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden. Tournament Director for a second year was Ulf Jacobsson, and player representative was Liv Wollin. Tournaments were played over 54 holes with no cut, the SI and LET events over 72 holes with cuts. Schedule The season consisted of 9 events played between May and September. The tour planned to continue Kristianstad Ladies Open and Aspeboda Ladies Open as Ladies European Tour events and added the European Masters, slated to be the richest LET event of the season with a purse of 1,100,000, but ultimately withdrew all three from the LET. Mikael Högberg (born 4 October 1960) is a retired List of Swedish professional golfers, Swedish professional golfer. He won the Swedish Golf Tour Order of Merit in 1990 and joined the European Tour in 1991. Amateur career Högberg finished fourth at the 1982 European Youths' Team Championship and won the 1983 Swedish International Stroke Play Championship. He represented Sweden at the 1984 Eisenhower Trophy and finished 8th together with Carl-Magnus Strömberg and Jesper Parnevik. Karl Mikael Karlsson (born 21 August 1973), who rides under the name Mikael Max, is an international motorcycle speedway rider who rode in the UK for the Wolverhampton Wolves in the Elite League. PGA Club Sweden Open
The Swedish PGA Championship for men is a golf tournament played annually in Sweden since 1970. It has been an event on the Swedish Golf Tour schedule since 1984 and the Nordic Golf League since 1999. History From its beginning in 1970, it was a championship for members of the PGA of Sweden. Since 1986, the tournament has been open to foreign players. The tournament was part of the Challenge Tour from 1990 to 1996 and from 2001 to 2005. Since 1984, when tournament professionals had been dominating the event for several years, there is also a Swedish PGA Club Pro Championship, limited to club professionals in Sweden, with separate competitions for men, women and senior men categories. Mats Åke Lanner (born 5 March 1961) is a Swedish professional golfer, who formerly played on the European Tour. In 1987, he became the second Swedish player to win a European Tour tournament. Early life and amateur career Lanner was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, and learned the game at Albatross Golf Club, situated on the island Hisingen in the northern part of the city of Gothenburg. He was also a member at Strömstad Golf Club, near the Norwegian border, were he won the club championship at 16 years of age.
