1987 LPGA Tour
The 1987 LPGA Tour was the 38th season since the LPGA Tour officially began in 1950. The season ran from January 29 to November 8. The season consisted of 33 official money events. Jane Geddes won the most tournaments, five. Ayako Okamoto led the money list with earnings of $466,034. There were seven first-time winners in 1987: Laura Davies, Rosie Jones, Yuko Moriguchi, Cindy Rarick, Deb Richard, Jody Rosenthal, and Colleen Walker. Jane Geddes
Jane Geddes (born February 5, 1960) is a retired American professional golfer. She joined the LPGA Tour in 1983 and won two major championships and 11 LPGA Tour events overall. Geddes was the Vice President of Talent Relations of WWE. Career Geddes was born in Huntington, New York. She played college golf at Florida State University and was a member of the school's national championship team in 1981. She joined the LPGA Tour in 1983, posting runner-up finishes three times from 1984 to 1985. Geddes broke through for her first professional victory when she won the 1986 U.S. Women's Open by defeating Sally Little in an 18-hole playoff. Then she won again the very next week. The year 1987 was her best, as she posted five victories, including the Mazda LPGA Championship, and four second-place finishes, finishing third on the money list. 1987 Nabisco Dinah Shore
The 1987 Nabisco Dinah Shore was a women's professional golf tournament, held April 2–5 at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. This was the 16th edition of the Nabisco Dinah Shore, and the fifth as a major championship. Pat Bradley (golfer)
Pat Bradley (born March 24, 1951) is an American professional golfer. She became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1974 and won 31 tour events, including six major championships. She is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Early life and family Bradley was born on March 24, 1951, in Westford, Massachusetts, she was the only daughter among six children of Richard and Kay Bradley. Her father was an avid golfer, and her brothers include Mark, a PGA club professional in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, whose son Keegan Bradley won the PGA Championship in 2011. The J Golf Phoenix LPGA International, in full the J Golf Phoenix LPGA International Presented by Mirassou Winery, was a women's professional golf tournament in Arizona on the LPGA Tour. Founded as the "Sun City Classic" in 1980, it was held annually in the Phoenix area through 2009, making it one of the longest-lasting events on the LPGA Tour. She became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1977 and won six major championships and 34 LPGA Tour victories in all.
