1986 CFL Season
The 1986 CFL season is considered to be the 33rd season in modern-day Canadian football, although it is officially the 29th Canadian Football League season. CFL News in 1986 The Canadian Football League decided that all nine teams will play 18 games each, in the regular season. The playoff structure was revised to allow a fourth place team from one of the divisions to qualify for the playoffs if that fourth place team has earned more points in the regular season standings than the third place team from the other division. Until 1992, however, that team stayed in its own division for the playoffs (the league began American expansion in 1993, changing the rules along the way). Queen's University At Kingston
Queen's University at Kingston, commonly known as Queen's University or simply Queen's, is a public research university in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Queen's holds more than of land throughout Ontario and owns Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex, England. Queen's is organized into eight faculties and schools. Paul Nastasiuk
Paul Gerard Nastasiuk (born July 11, 1963 in Newmarket, Ontario) is a retired professional Canadian football player. Nastasiuk played seven seasons in the Canadian Football League. He won the Grey Cup as a member of the 1991 Toronto Argonauts team. Nastasiuk was inducted into the Wilfrid Laurier University Golden Hawk Hall of Fame in 2000, and into the Barrie Sports Hall of Fame 2008. BC Lions
The BC Lions are a professional Canadian football team based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Lions compete in the West Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL), and play their home games at BC Place. The Lions played their first season in 1954, and have played every season since, making them the oldest professional sports franchise in British Columbia. They have appeared in the league's Grey Cup championship game 10 times, winning six, with their most recent championship occurring in 2011. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are a professional Canadian football team based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They are currently members of the East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Brian P. Belway (born May 28, 1963 in Ottawa, Ontario) is a former National Football League defensive end. Belway played one game for the Los Angeles Raiders in the 1987 season.
