Anime
is Traditional animation, hand-drawn and computer animation, computer-generated animation originating from Japan. Outside of Japan and in English, ''anime'' refers specifically to animation produced in Japan. is a Japanese retired professional wrestler, wrestling instructor and commentator who is known for his work in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), and shoot-style promotions Universal Wrestling Federation (UWF) and UWF International (UWFi). Megazone 23
is a four-part Japanese cyberpunk original video animation created by Noboru Ishiguro, written by Hiroyuki Hoshiyama and Emu Arii, and directed by Ishiguro, Ichiro Itano, Kenichi Yatagai, and Shinji Aramaki. The series debuted in 1985. It was originally titled but the title was changed just before release. The story follows Shougo Yahagi, a delinquent motorcyclist whose possession of a government prototype bike leads him to discover the truth about the city. Released on the VHS, Betamax, Laserdisc and VHD formats, the first part was a major commercial success in Japan upon release in 1985. It was also adapted into '' Robotech: The Movie'' (1986) in North America. Yoshiyuki Tomino
is a Japanese mecha anime creator, animator, director, screenwriter, songwriter and novelist best known for creating the ''Gundam'' anime franchise. He was born in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, and studied at Nihon University's College of Art. Career & Legacy Tomino began his career in 1963 with Osamu Tezuka's company, Mushi Productions, scripting the storyboards and screenplay of the first Japanese anime television series, '' Tetsuwan Atomu'' (also known as ''Astro Boy''). Takeyuki Kanda
was an anime director for Sunrise who was known for directing '' Vifam'', ''The Ultraman'' anime, ''Kiko Senki Dragonar'' and the first six episodes of '' Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team''. He was also heavily inspired by Nicolas Roeg, Stanley Kubrick and Steven Spielberg on his works. On July 27, 1996 while making his first directed ''Gundam'' series, Takeyuki Kanda was reportedly killed in a car crash. is a 1983 Mecha anime television series produced by Sunrise, loosely based on Jules Verne's novel ''Deux ans de vacances''.
