1983 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 1983 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held on December 14–19, 1982 in Sarajevo, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, SFR Yugoslavia. Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the event determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Vladimir Vasilyevich Petrenko ( uk, Володимир Васильович Петренко: Volodymyr Vasylovych Petrenko, russian: Владимир Васильевич Петренко; born in 1971) is a former competitive figure skater who represented the Soviet Union.
