Czechoslovak First League
The Czechoslovak First League ( cs, 1. fotbalová liga, sk, 1. futbalová liga) was the premier football league in the Czechoslovakia from 1925 to 1993, with the exception of World War II. Czechoslovakia was occupied by German forces who formed Gauliga Sudetenland and Gauliga Böhmen und Mähren leagues on occupied territories. Until the 1934-35 season, no teams from Slovakia participated in the league. Czechs were allowed to run their own league in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, while Slovaks were granted their own independent Slovak State and created their own league. After the World War II the league was recreated. Description The league was dominated by clubs from Prague with Sparta Prague winning 19 titles, Dukla Prague 11 and Slavia Prague 9. The attendance record for the league was set on 4 September 1965, when 50,105 spectators attended a match between rivals Sparta and Slavia in Prague. FC Hradec Králové
FC Hradec Králové is a Czech football club based in the city of Hradec Králové. The club, which was founded in 1905, won the Czechoslovak First League in the 1959–60 season. The club currently plays in the Czech First League. Following their domestic success, Hradec played in the 1960–61 European Cup and was eliminated by Barcelona in the quarter-finals, Barcelona eventually becoming runners-up. In 1995 Hradec won the Czech Cup and subsequently played in the Cup Winners' Cup, where it was eliminated in the round of 16 by Dynamo Moscow. In the 2002–03 season they were relegated to the Second Division. They returned to the top flight in 2009–10 only to be relegated once more in 2012–13; however they would place second in the 2. Vladimír Hruška
Vladimír Hruška (born 2 August 1957) is a Czech football manager and retired player. He was also manager of the Czech Republic women's national football team. Hruška played for Bohemians Prague for most of his career. He also had spells with RH Cheb, AS Angoulême and Chmel Blšany. He played 3 matches for Czechoslovakia in 1986 FIFA World Cup qualification, scoring 1 goal. FK Dukla Prague ( cs, FK Dukla Praha) is a Czech association football club located in the Dejvice area of Prague. It currently plays in the Czech National Football League. The club played in local competitions between 2001 and 2007, when it gained entry to the country's second league. A four-year spell in the second league followed, culminating in the club winning the league in 2011 and being promoted to the Czech First League, where it remained until relegation in 2019. FK Hvězda Cheb is a Czech football club, playing in the town of Cheb. The club was founded in 1951 and refounded in 2001 after a bankruptcy in 1996. The club played for 13 consecutive seasons in the Czechoslovak First League between 1979 and 1992, and played three seasons in the Czech First League, finishing fourth in the 1993–94 season. The club played in the third-tier Bohemian Football League between 2006 and 2008. It currently plays in the Czech Fourth Division. The club also had appearances in Europe playing the Mitropa Cup in 1980 and in Intertoto Cup 1981, in which it won its group. FC Spartak Trnava () is a Slovak professional Association football, football club based in Trnava. FC Nitra is a Slovak association football club, playing in the town of Nitra. Established in 1909, FC Nitra is one of the oldest football clubs in Slovakia. FC Lokomotíva Košice is a Slovak football club, playing in the town of Košice. The club was founded in 1946 and played for 29 years in the Czechoslovak First League.
