Alain Santy (born August 28, 1949) is a former French professional cyclist. Biography He is the brother of Guy Santy, who was also a professional cyclist. Santy was professional from 1970 to 1976. Miguel María Lasa Urquía (born 4 November 1947) is a Spanish former road bicycle racer. He was born in Oiartzun. He won four stages in the Vuelta a España as well as the Points classification in 1975 Vuelta a España. He also finished on the podium of Vuelta a España four times (1972, 1974, 1975, 1977). An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock (in French: ''contre la montre'' – literally "against the watch", in Italian: ''tappa a cronometro'' "stopwatch stage"). Privas
Privas (; oc, Privàs , also ) is a city located in France, in the department of Ardèche. With its 8,465 inhabitants (2019), it is the least populated prefecture (capital of a department). It was the location of the 1629 Siege of Privas. Today, Privas is known for the purée made from the local chestnuts, and for its sweetened marron glacé. History The earliest traces of the commune are attested in the hamlet of Lac where recent archaeological excavations have revealed a Roman villa dating to the beginning of the Empire, as well as a medieval burying-ground. José Catieau (17 July 1946 – 30 November 2023) was a French professional road bicycle racer. He was a professional from 1969 to 1976. For the 1973 season, Catieau was a teammate of the great Spanish cyclist Luis Ocaña on the Bic team. At the start of the 1973 Tour de France, Catieau won stage 1b into St.Niklaas in Belgium. The third stage of the 1973 Tour de France began in Roubaix and part of the day's stage went over some cobblestones which are traditionally used in the Spring Classic, Paris–Roubaix. When the peloton went over a section of cobblestones at Querenaing, Catieau, Ocaña and three teammates together with a group of 5 riders attacked and got an advantage. This advantage was over five minutes at one point but the chasing group reduced this to two and a half minutes at the finish. Gap, Hautes-Alpes
Gap (, ) is the prefecture of the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southeastern France. In 2019, the commune had a population of 40,631, making it the most populated city in Hautes-Alpes.
