The Chilean Primera División (English: First Division) is the top-tier league of the Chilean football league system. It is organized by the '' ANFP''. The league is known as the Campeonato AFP PlanVital for sponsorship reasons. Format As of the 2018 season, 16 teams compete in the league, playing against each other two times, home and away. Relegation and promotion Currently, the two teams with the worst scores in the season, are relegated to Primera B, and replaced by the Champions and Runners-up of this Division. Qualification for international competitions The champions of the Campeonato are immediately qualified to the Copa Libertadores for the next year, as well as the second and third place. Unión La Calera
Unión La Calera is a Chilean football club based in La Calera and competes the Primera División de Chile. It was founded as Club de Deportes La Calera on 26 January 1954, after the merger of three teams from the city: ''Condor'', ''Calera Comercio'' and ''Tifón''. The following year, Deportes La Calera joined ''Club de Deportes Melón'' (originated by the merger between Cemento Melón and Minas Navío) to form Unión La Calera. After spending six seasons in second level, the club obtained its first promotion to Primera División de Chile in 1961, category where they remained until 1974. In 1985, they returned to top-tier, but they were relegated the incoming season. Alejandro Magno Trujillo Obreke (26 March 1952 – 6 January 2020) was a Chilean professional footballer who played mainly as a forward for Unión Española, O'Higgins and Audax Italiano during the 1970s. He also earned three caps for the Chile national team. In 1999, he was voted to the O'Higgins '' Team of the Century'' by fans of the club. Unión San Felipe is a Chilean Football club, their hometown is San Felipe in the V Región of Valparaíso. They play in the second level of the Chilean football league, the Primera B. Naval de Talcahuano, were a Chilean football club based in the city of Talcahuano, Biobío Region. The club founded in 1944 as ''Asociación Naval de Foot-Ball'', was property of the Armada de Chile and played only at amateur level for 24 years, until 1968 when it began to play at professional level in the second tier of Chilean football.
